Western Digital RE3 WD1002FBYS Hard Drive

Rec'd drive promptly and very well packaged. Purchased this older-modeldrive because it was on the vendor's approved hardware list. Installed drivein a Netgear ReadyNAS v1, where SMART info showed that drive sold asnew had over 30K hours on it.Contacted vendor, who phoned back same day after having technician testother drives they rec'd from the same source, found them also with manypower-on hours.We agreed that since drive tested OK in my system, I would keep it, andAeon Micro would refund part of the purchase price, which they did promptly.

Sent me a hard drive that has bad sectors and over 27,000 hours
