It seems to be in-between 22 and 24 gauge. **Q: Does this pizza slicer bend while cutting? I have used one that is bendable, and I want one that is extremely stiff while cutting** A: This one is very solid and stiff . In fact I have to toss the pizza on a cutting board when I square cut it as the rocker does not flex enough to cut it on the pan. **Q: Is the rocker blade nsf?** A: There is no NSF stamp on it but I’d assume it would be. It’s made from food grade 18/0 stainless steel. So much easier for cutting hot pizza than a traditional wheel cutter. Only complaints is it can be a little tricky to clean, and can’t be stored in just a drawer, Atleast in my kitchen it’s to big for the drawers. Either way i combat this by just hanging it up by the oven.
