The captain games, being at the mercy of their team players ideas was hilarious, even though you knew what was gunna happen it was still funny. The love - hate relationship between Topher n Teddy was brilliantly done, can't wait to start the next book.

Enemies to lovers with grumpy jealousy and good feels
**4.5-5 Stars**I loved this. It had such a natural progression from I hate you to oh hello (the sexual tension! So good) to haha I don't care. Oh daaamn, I love you. And with my forever favourite grumpy, misplaced jealousy. I'm sorry but I love it so much. The yeah whatever. We're f-- buddies to a little misunderstanding to drinking yourself stupid because you're absolutely not jealous and don't care. I cackled. Jacobs and Beck are so good together. There's also this kind of one sided rivalry because Beck definitely pushed buttons because he's Beck but Jacobs was ever glaring, ever absolutely furious at Beck's existence. They have this snark between them, this sexual tension that is fire when it implodes and they have really lovely soft moments too. The awkwardness of navigating dates and being boyfriends after being enemies for so long them settling into what they convinced themselves was a f-- buddy situation. also the exploration of sexuality and labels and fitting into all of that and figuring it out was lovely too. Then Beck with the Jacobs' family was adorable. There is tension with Beck's family but it does get sorted. Where Beck's Dad is concerned... I don't know how I feel about him becoming this sympathetic character because I do still think he was power wielding manipulative **** but also glad it didn't go the other end of the scale either. I also really liked Beck's sister too.All around it's just a really great book that I didn't want to put down and had so much fun reading. I imagine it will be a re-read. Looking forward to reading the next book even though I'm still judging Cohen.

Enemies to lovers. MM hockey romance. One kiss was all it took for enemies to realise maybe there’s more…Beck and Jacobs hate each other with a passion and when they both volunteer to coach hockey over the summer, their whole life changes. After a few dumb dares to see which one will take the captaincy, there’s a different kind of heat between them.I loved both these characters. The farm boy who puts 110% into everything and the rich kid who hates living off his father’s money. Together they’re adorable. This book is feisty, cute and hot. The spice was a 2.5/5.

Soo good!
Still staying out of my book slump 😊 This book was just as yummy as the first. It started out really strong & Topher and Teddy together are soooo hot! Yum! I did feel the ending edged too close to way too cheesy but just managed to escape the title. Going to keep going with the series. Looking forward to Cohen’s story. I really want to give 5 stars but the ending just did not stay as strong as the start so 4 🌟

Awesome
eeekkk!!! I was waiting for this story since I finished power plays and straight A’s. The relationship between Jacobs and Beck is unique their really is a fine line between love and hate. These two are amazing together even when they are throwing insults at one another. The chemistry between them is hot and mushy. You guys really need to read this book it’s beautifully written and will have you hooked from page one! These two balance each other out and make one another better. I cannot wait to see who speaks to these talented authors next.

I really enjoy most of the works by these authors. I say most because I still have some to read. I enjoy hate to love storylines because of the tension . I have enjoyed both books in 5his series so far and can’t wait for the next. Well worth the read.

Even better than book one
I loved this book, it hit so many of my favourite tropes on one easy to read, well paced narrative.Enemies to lovers romance just ticks my boxes and with Jacobs and Beck ut was a doozy.Adrenaline filled, angry sexual encounters and a slow dawning that feelings are more involved than either had thought. All adds up to a brilliant and relatively angst and drama free college age romance with a very solid ending I could totally believe would be a HEA.
