Looks like I’m not the only one with a bad smelling lotion! I first got a similar for my baby shower and I absolutely loved the smell and when I found it on amazon I knew I had to repurchase it. The smell of the shampoo is just as I remember it! But the lotion just smells bad, almost like it’s old with a hint of the sweet orange vanilla. I did contact the customer service and they sent me another one so hopefully the lotion in that one will smell better.

I struggle to see how my l\o can have an outbreak because of this shampoo because its suppose to be organic. Spent $30 on the whole set and couldnt use it due to how bad she was broke out from it. But oh well back to Johnson & Johnson.

I bought these because I love the smell of the orange vanilla leave in hair conditioner/detangler. The smell from these was actually sickening. Smelled like a disgusting concoction of mildew or mold, with a hint of chemicals and a touch of sweet orange. I will never purchase anything else from this company except the hair detangler.

I love this body wash! It suds up well, I’m not afraid to get it near my sons eyes, and it smells fresh! I will buy again. The lotion on the other hand smells awful. It’s very moisturizing however, the smell kills it for me. It smells like the plastic from the container has leeched into the lotion. I hope that’s not the case because I bought this product over my usual aveeno baby because it’s supposed to be a cleaner product for my babies gentle skin. I’m bummed!

Vanilla orange? It sounded amazing, but what I got was a disappointment. The shampoo smells very faintly orange-y, but not much like vanilla. The lotion smells awful. It would be bearable if there was no fragrance at all, but it smells like something out of the back of an old medicine cabinet at your grandma's.
