The Hunger Games: Complete 4 Film Collection [Blu-ray]

I own the DVD versions of these movies but there was a good price advertised for this 4 disk Blu-ray set. We now have a lot of family movie nights and we watch the movies with a 10 foot diagonal projected HD screen. The Blu-ray Discs just have better quality video and we prefer to watch them so we purchased the BLU-RAY set.This is a good set of discs and the video quality is very good. I had no issues with the disc at all. This is a great set of films and for the promotion price they were hard to pass up. I am glad we got them and we enjoyed watching them. The set is actually 6 discs. It includes a lot of extra features for the films and if you are a fan you will enjoy watching these add on features.The set includes:• The Hunger Games• The Hunger Games Bonus Features• Catching Fire• Mockingjay Part 1• Mockingjay Part 2• The complete 4 film collection bonus features• A code sheet that will allow you to download the digital HD films for all four disks so you can watch your films on your smart phones or tablets or PC.Just a comment, be careful when putting the discs back into the case. It is designed the have the bottom disc partially tucked under the mounting tab for the top disc and that is not really clearly obvious. Make sure you do not scratch your discs and damage them. This is a good set of discs and they are worth owning. My family has enjoyed owning these BluRay discs as well as the digital versions for streaming. This is a good buy and we had fun watching the movies and adding them to our movie library!I enjoyed all of these movies and it is nice to get them in one complete set.As soon as we got them we had a Hunger Games marathon movie watching party.

The best young adult dystopian series ever.

I love the movies. I've read the books and the movies are a good adaptation. After reading several reviews about defective DVDs I bought the blu rays. They work perfectly. Some reviewers expressed concern about the packaging not including everything on the product picture. I'm including pictures and explanations of the packaging.1. Front cover2. Back Cover3. Discs sliding out the bottom of the cover4. Disc holders5. Back of disc holder (the pictures that look like they come as an extra with this set are simply the back of the disc holder, they are not separate.)I hope this helps everyone understand that in one way you are getting everything pictured, it just doesn't come the way you may expect. Personally I'm not rating down for the packaging because after reading reviews of people who said they didn't get everything pictured, I wasn't expecting anything but the six blu ray discs, in a case. I do recommend the blu rays as they seem to have fewer issues than the DVDs. Mine don't have any issues. I haven't seen the bonus discs yet, but the movies are perfect.

I am very pleasantly surprised with this collection. There are so many extras on the discs and found the interviews and background information interesting and well done. I appreciated very much the breadth of information provided by this collection and recommend it highly. The one downside is their there is a problem with the quality of discs used. I have a decent DVD player and I ended up returning the first set because I thought the discs were unreadable. When I got the second set I had the same problem. As I was pondering why the disc would not load the movies and was reading my DVD instruction manual for any possible solutions, the movie FINALLY loaded. I find that it can take from 3-5 minutes to load the movies on these discs. Once the movie is playing the quality if excellent. I think others have had this same problem - so just be aware.

I’m giving it 5 stars because they dvds were wonderful quality, however, I did have some issues with the 4th movie. There were points at the end where it would cut out the audio and say that audio was available. I’m still giving it 5 stars because I found that turning my player off and on made it work again. I haven’t watched the bonus disks yet cause I didn’t know they were gonna be there when I bought them and don’t really have an interest in playing them. But other than the audio issue in the last movie it was great quality and definitely worth the purchase.

Just bought and received this. What with all the various complaints, I figured I had better take a close look. All six disks are in pristine shape and play fine. I expect to enjoy the movies immensely.However ... this packaging takes the approach of having a center section (that itself opens in two) to hold 4 of the six disks. All is plastic, of course. That center section has two rotation pins, one at the top and one at the bottom; each pin is held by two tabs. One of the two tabs on the bottom pin was broken off before I ever had a chance to open the package. So, the center section sort of flops rather than turning like a page in a book. The result is annoying and clumsy but unlikely to damage the disks. Without this design flaw, this product would have gotten 5 stars.

Having read the books I was excited to see the movies. The books read like a screenplay so all they needed was a capable cast. Jennifer Lawrence was the perfect Katness and although Hutchison fell short (for my expectations) Harrelson and Tucci always make things better. The second movie is actually better than the second book. But it’s the dour ending that robs it of its fifth star. Still it was a great story in both book and film.

You must own all 4... but I have to say that I have enjoyed the books probably more than the movies. Still.. the special effects are convincing and the movies did a fair job of representing the books... Read the books if you'd like more info about each of the episodes. It is enlightening... and in some ways made me appreciate the movies a bit more. I love Jennifer Lawrence... she is a young lady with a future. I would say ok for age 10 years and older.. there are tough themes and some violence. No nudity or sex.. a little kissing... they are trying to survive after all...

Excelente producto: Estuve leyendo varias reseñas y tenía miedo de comprar ésta colección por el tema de la caja, pero finalmente me animé y la verdad todo super bien. Vienen 6 discos en un case reducido, dónde se incluyen las 4 películas y 2 bluray de características especiales; lo recomiendo al 100%.

Chi ama la serie sarà soddisfatto del cofanetto. Solo in lingua originale con tanti contenuti extra. Bellissimo

This arrived in good condition and with reasonably prompt delivery, considering the low price of postage and the fact that it was coming from America to the UK. Everything was as described, and all 8 discs worked. I have no complaints, and would happily buy from this seller again.I'd also like to say something about the product itself. If you just want the four films, as opposed to the bonus features that are included in this particular box set, then this isn't worth your money. The packaging does feature some nice movie stills, and everything is solid enough, but if it's aesthetics you're after, get the steelbook. However, if you, like me, want literally everything content-wise and are having problems getting hold of it in the UK, then this is the one you want to buy. This is the American release of the "Complete Collection", comprised of 8 discs and substantially more bonus material than the UK release. It is region-coded, so will not play on a standard UK DVD player. However, if you don't have a region-free DVD player, don't worry. I have been able to play all 8 discs on my laptop with VLC Player, which is free to download (for Windows 8/10 users, go with the internet download as opposed to the VLC app from the Windows App Store). My laptop is a HP Pavilion, however I would imagine that any laptop or PC made fairly recently (which to me is post-2010, although I accept that this may not fit some peoples' definition of 'recently') would be able to play the discs with VLC Player or similar. Overall, in terms of what you get, this is well worth the money. I would recommend that anyone slightly obsessed with the Hunger Games franchise purchase this particular box set.

El Blu Ray sólo lo puedo ver en mi ordenador con programas multiregión, ya que en mi PlayStation 4 no funciona.La copia digital sí que he podido descargarla, aunque solo en 1 de las 5 plataformas disponibles (ya que todas estaban limitadas a USA).En cuanto al contenido en sí de los discos es perfecto. Vienen casi 14 horas de contenido adicional además de las películas y en una calidad visual buenísima. Si no disponéis de un reproductor de Blu Ray multirregión no lo vais a poder hacer funcionar.
