ChromaCastCC-BHC Bass Guitar Hard Case Black

Love the latches! Thought they might be the kind with spring hasps that break or wear out easily. But they are over-latch rings which are usually more durable. Needed this case for a custom built bass that is a little too long for most gig bags or cases but this fits perfectly. I gave 4/5 stars on sturdiness only because there are probably sturdier materials that could be used in the walls without increasing the cost too much so that the case would be good for checked airline baggage. But overall and for my purposes in this price range, it’s perfect.

A pesar de que la imagen no ilustra el producto como tal (estéticamente, me gusta más el de la imagen, con los bordes redondeados. El estuche en sí es completamente rectangular), tiene muchas ventajas. Está bastante bien construido, no pesa demasiado, tiene buen espacio en el interior. Es un poco más largo que los estuches estándar, haciendo que sobre espacio entre la cabeza de la guitarra y el borde del estuche. Cuenta con un acolchado para proteger el brazo/diapasón del instrumento. Los broches se ven de buena calidad. El compartimento para cuerdas o accesorios es muy amplio. La relación calidad-precio es insuperable, es un excelente precio para un estuche rígido.

Not much to complain about here at all. Arrived extremely quickly, fits my Strat perfectly. Inside is nice and plush, keeps the guitar secure. I spun it upside down, around, every which way, and the guitar doesn't move an inch. The inside compartment is nice for storing the tremolo arm, spare picks, capo, string winder, strings, pens, etc. Lots of room in there. I even leave songbooks and a notebook in the headstock area sometimes if I need to carry them around.The clasps aren't ultra secure, and I don't particularly trust the lock. It works just fine, but I feel like somebody who cared enough could break them in about a minute. Then again, you're not storing collectors pieces in a $70 case.Materials look sturdy enough. I wouldn't carry a guitar on the road 365 days a year with this thing, but for moving to house-to-house and general storage, you can't beat it.If >$200 is your budget for a case, look no further.

I think the best thing I can say about this case is that when it arrived, the box around it was *trashed* - but the case itself was fine. I mean...the box it came in was water-logged and shredded. It looked like someone had soaked it in a piranha tank after rubbing raw meat on it.But the case itself? Flawless. The construction is sound, the case is sturdy, the chrome bumpers are shiny and strong. The inside is appropriately soft and fluffy. The storage compartment is adequate and will a cable or two, strings, plenty of picks - whatever.The lock is nothing to write home about. I found it a little cumbersome to use, but then I don't plan to use it so I don't really care.Summary: If you need a case for your electric guitar, this is a good one, and if you factor in the cost, it becomes a great one.

Bought this on an Amazon Warehouse deal. Said it had major damage so I was expecting it to be scraped or crushed or the handle broken. But for $40 I was willing to take a chance. The package arrived, I unpacked it not expecting much. Much to my amazement it was in incredible condition. One small blemish about the size of a pencil eraser and you can only see it when looking at the right angle. I would’ve been happy with this case at full price. Nice and sturdy, fits and holds my 12 string telecaster snuggly and it’s lockable.
