This is my second Dremel. My first dates back to 1985 and the difference in power is obvious. I'm very happy with the 4000. It takes on every demand I make of it and it works well. Now I have my old Dremel with the Flex Shaft full time and the new 4000 for ewverything else. It's a great product.

Bought this refurbished after stupid me accidentally cut the cord to my original 4000. I was little hesitant as this was refurbished and my original was new. Totally wrong on all levels. This came looking and functioning like new. You would never be able to tell this refurbished. I immediately put it to work and I use it almost weekly. Speeds are great and power is as expected. I think the 4000 is one of the best Dremels they have made. Don’t hesitate if you need a new one or just wanna get a power tool, multi tool with a zillion uses. I’m not sure what I would do without a Dremel in my life. Great buy replacement and great price as well.

Came in almost new condition. As you can see in the photo's, it looks new with the exception of one tiny mark on the butt end by the cord. Works absolutely as well as brand new but I saved $50 or so going this route. I would not only recommend buying one like this but I'd argue that you are being foolish not to. As far as the Dremel 4000 model its what you expect from Dremel, perfection. Would however recommend the little hose attachment for doing a lot of finer, more craft centered work at a work bench as the tool could be considered a little heavy for a woman, child, disabled person to hold steady long term.

Great deal on a like-new tool

I haven’t used it to work with yet as I had just unboxed it and plugged it in to check out the speeds working correctly and finding that they do in fact work as they should . The motor isn’t as quiet as I’ve been reading from other reviewers but it’s not excessive noise. It came in an original Dremel hard case which I think is awesome to get with a refurbished machine that I will say looks brand new ! No marks or signs of wear at all . It comes with a little box of accessories to get you started... which I think is pretty nice of them to do . Again I haven’t used this to do any work yet but from what I see as of now .... I would highly recommend purchasing a refurbished Dremel if you don’t want to pay full price for a brand new one ... as far as I can see this is as close to brand as you can get without buying brand new !
