Teaching Little Fingers to Play More

Bought as directed by music teacher. Kids love the class

We like these instruction books. They’ve been good for my little girls in their piano lessons. I feel like they’re easy to understand and have a logical progression. I put tape over the finger numbering because my girls were depending on that instead of learning to read the notes.

I'm teaching my younger sister how to play the piano (she's 6) and this was her second book. The first one was the "Teaching Little Fingers to Play". It is a good follow up. The songs are well designed and work well for a beginner student. I do wish though that more recognizable songs were used. This is really my only complaint. She has only known maybe 1 or 2 out of the entire series so far.

I already know the book, I needed one at home because I can no longer just point to things in a lesson - zoom makes it different.

This is a great book and it does NOT come with the CD. I don't like teaching my students to play by ear, so I don't want them to have the CD. The book and CD combo is the only thing that the stores here carry, so this was a great find!

These books have stood the test of time. For young students, this book's predessor, Teaching Little Fingers to Play, is the ideal starting book for young students. There is no other book that I have found that could be any better than Teaching Little Fingers to Play More. It is an easy transition for the young student - and possibly adults who also want to learn to play piano. The tunes are enjoyable and fun. I got this book for my girls and they are playing through it and really enjoying the songs. The lessons are simple and the explanations of tempo, notes, etc are very clear and easy to understand. A great book for an "advanced beginner."

This was a nice addition in the series. It goes along very nicely with the rest of the books. Some of the songs weren't liked all that much, but that's to be expected.I would recommend this book if you are using the other books in the series.
