Does any kind of panel need to be removed from underneath the car in order to install these?

There are some instructional videos on YouTube that you can watch. You’ll need to remove some side trim and make a few cuts under the vehicle.

Does this come with "Defender" imprinted on the step? Some customer photos show this and others do not.

No they do not but they are great, we’re very pleased with them😊

Will installation of these after market running boards void my Land Over 2022 Defender warranty?

You would have to ask the dealership but honestly the steps to install these are the same as the OEM side steps. You could also ask the dealer to install them for you, my local dealership quoted me something too high so i did it myself in 2 hours.
