My Russian Master (Service & Submission) Paperback – October 20, 2015

The Service and Submission Series is one of my favorite series and book 1 has been my favorite until now. My Russian Master is a really special book and I love it because Caroline, the heroine, isn’t perfect. She has real life issues and real flaws that make me want to befriend her. As I read more about Caroline and her life it made me want to hug her and I was hooked on finding out if she had a happily ever after.Then we meet Maxim and holy crap I need all of you to read about him so we can have some serious girl talk because a sexy man from Russia who knows about whips and spankings… and did I mention he can cook. Like serious cooking not just eggs and cereal. Yes to Maxim yes please!! His words are like sweet honey that definitely makes me need some alone time. A panty melting Russian man who knows how to spank – YES!…and then there is Jason. *dreamy sigh* A sexy as hell bodyguard that spanks when you don’t take care of yourself… uh yes please. Now, he has a wife but still manages to help keep Caroline in line. What isn’t to love?Now, I do have to mention that the author did a wonderful job tackling a real life issue so well with this story. Although it may be a trigger for some I urge you to keep reading and don’t give it up because it is worth it in the end. I have to admit this book made me cry but also made me laugh and shiver. Overall this is a wonderful book and I can’t wait to see what the author comes up with next!

A good story. I liked that theme of spanking being used to help the heroine get over personal issues. Can't wait for the next story.

Book is so sexy. (Eta kniga tak seksual'no. I even looked it up in Google translate!) Imagine that being said by a tall, sexy Russian man...who's holding a belt with your name on it. And of course, in this scenario, you want that belt.Is it getting hot in here? :) Okay, so here's the scoop. Sexy, intelligent, and rude to her underlings, CEO Caroline is desperate to lose 20 lbs, thinking it's necessary to get even farther up the business ladder. She hires sexy fitness chef Maxim directly from Russia to be her live-in chef and coach. In the meantime, she fantasizes about the anonymous stranger who makes sexy whipping videos online.As coincidence would have it, Maxim IS the whip-master, and he's more than eager to motivate Caroline with more than words, and convince her that she's gorgeous the way she is already -- she just needs to eat better and be kinder to her employees.As they launch into a passionate dominant/submissive affair, it's clear that Caroline might not need to lose weight after all...but she just may lose her heart.Can I just say that Maxim is seriously one of the sexiest spanky romance heroes ever? OMG. Seriously, he's hot. YA khochu odin raz , kak on. (That is supposed to say, "I want one just like him.")

I have never read a book that was so sexist!! Caroline was treated and talked to like she was a 5 year old. Only the big, strong men knew how to function without being whipped according to this author.The part where Caroline was stripped by her father at the age of 21 and then spanked with his hand and paddle was sickening! The author made it seem like it was normal and appropriate. Also, when Jason beat his wife with a belt for buying a dress that was outside of their budget made me want to punch him in the face!!! I absolutely hated his character after that. Now to Maxium, he was probably the most misogynistic of them all. Thinking that women had to be whipped in order to be kind and gentle. The part that made me the angriest was that Caroline employed Maxium and he ended treating her like an a disobedient child. How can a woman write something that makes grown women seem like that can't function unless they have a man directing them and whipping them? Makes me sick!!'

This series is sexual,sensual, the emotion comes off the pages in waves. The storyline is amazing and the characters are endearingOn another note, Anorexia and Bulimia are serious diseases with disastrous consequences, the author has done a first rate in her research on the subject matter. This book is beyond 5 stars. Would definitely recommend this book and series to anyone looking to explore bdsm. One of the best books I have read in some time. Can't wait for more, bravo Megan ... a true must read!

Better late than never! Everyone else read and reviewed this book years ago. I just discovered with the new (I think) cover. But Caroline's and Maxim's story was so worth my 3 year wait. I cannot think of a book (erotica) I've read that does such a wonderful job of describing the inner workings of the woman's mind - why it's so important to her to hire this Russian master of many things to help her, why she has such trouble following orders, why she is turned out by spanking. And the spanking was so, so hot! I don't always understand why spanking is seen as a turn on but I got it with this book. The characters had nuance (loved the pantie fascination) and, as usual with Ms. Michaels' books, you are treated to a glimpses into the bedroom of a second couple. Bravo, Megan.

Dominance and submission comes in many flavors; and this one is intense, bold, and overpowering to your senses. In a word: delicious. This author always transports me into the pages of her stories, with characters who become as familiar as family and relationships that are deep, emotional, and heart-stopping be it during discipline or mind-melting fun. After reading this book, I just might need to find a fitness chef of my own!

Was wondering if this writer would do more of this type of book and really enjoyed the 3 I have read so far. Looking forward to more of this type.
