One of the best reads
The title is apt, consider this book as a knowledge box, but not a preachy but active in imparting lesson.

Merci Tim, MAIS !

Probably your best book so far, Tim.
I have put 5 stars because it is the most fascinating book I have read this year (and I read a lot). However, there plenty of things I don't completely agree with. Instead of dropping the score, I prefer to write detailed a review.First, it is a great thought-provoking book. If you're someone who consider yourself being incredibly result-oriented, who likes to push boundaries and challenge paradigms, well this book will be to you the equivalent of cocaine for a big spider (there are some very funny videos online about it). I personally loved it, and I am really taking my time to re-read it carefully.Basically, there are 3 sections: Health, Wealth and Wisdom/Happiness. I absolutely loved the 2 last one without a doubt (there are TONS of hidden gems) but I still have some reserves for the Health section.Although Tim and I seem to share a lot of points of view, I think the health section is way too narrow minded. I don't think you can summarize being healthy only by looking at body fat, and the ability to lift heavy weights. I also think it focuses too much on the Keto diet, which is most definitely interesting idea, but doesn't mention other diets that can be even healthier to you. What about the Paleo diet? What about reducing the level of inflammation or autoimmune response? Or maximizing the ratio of good versus bad bacteria in your gut? It is one of the biggest energy sapper you have nowadays. At the end of the day, we all want to be energetic and smart, not necessarily have 6 pack abs. Also the book talks about taking Hallucinogen for brain health. I am not too sure about that, but to say I'd say: "yeah, okay, maybe...". However, what else that makes the brain healthy? Playing a musical instrument and learning new languages are extremely beneficial for the brain. Also, it talks a lot about taking cold shower before going to bed. Maybe this tip is valid in California, however, while living in Canada in cold houses, this tip doesn't make any sense. You're cold all day and you end up being sick of it. However, I did experimented with temperature differences, and a very long hot shower before going to bed does improve sleep significantly.Tim, if you want to reach me to discuss few points, I'm easy to find.Cheers from MontrealChristopher A.
