The mode is a repaint of Dead End and supposed is their version of Wildrider but it works just fine for me
Fans of the G1 days have been rewarded for their patience. Menasor is not Menasor with Off-Road for me. This was the piece I was waiting for before I decided to take the dive and get all the figures. The mode is a repaint of Dead End and supposed is their version of Wildrider but it works just fine for me. I know many would have preferred we got the original car mode it was modeled after, but I'll take this over NO Wildrider anyday! It's actually quite posable and and functions pretty well as a combiner leg. As an arm it may annoy you with the oddly opened forearm. All in all this is a pretty well designed figure with another good head mold. It's a nice figure to buy for new and older fans of combiners.

Ever want to complete that Combiner Wars Menasor with actual stunticons? This is where you need to go, Break-neck is the answer. Now he may just be a straight repainted of Dead End with a new head, but he looks individual enough to set them apart. A must buy for that G1 fan/collector.

Great figure, lots of fun
Overall I'm a big fan of the Combiner Wars line of Transformers and the mold used for Brakeneck is one of may favorites (which is good since it is reused about five other times in this line). The car mode is very sleek, the transformation steps are very straight forward and fun, and the robot mode is well articulated with enough details and paint apps to look interesting. The chest plate does a good job of hiding the Combiner-connection port without looking too out-of-place. My only two criticisms would be First that the chest doesn't really tuck away cleanly in either car or combiner-limb mode, it just kind of flips into place without really securing to anything. Second would be that I've noticed a lot of variance in how securely the legs snap together. Some figures using this mold give an audible and secure 'click' while others feel like the legs are just being kind of wedged together and more easily come undone.Overall though very satisfied, it's a fun figure with a cool design, fun transformation, and lots of playability.

Finally can complete the classic G1 Menasor look. Should have been released with that wave of Combiner Wars and not as an online exclusive later.
