Product soap smells good but my product came in with the cap broke and the soap leaked out inside the package

I don't feel the peppermint much if at all. A light scent to it. But appears to be the same great soap as the original version and so I bought 2 bottles by accident..thought it was one but somehow I had 2 in the order when I placed it. Defense just needs to figure out ONE issue I have. It is thick it does not come put of the bottle squeeze cap after a few uses. It plugs up. Can be difficult ot get it out during a shower. I've had to dry my hands to remove lid to pour out onto palm to use. I shampoo with it too. Being as strong as it is you should be careful of more sensitive and private skin areas when using. You may need to rinse quickly those areas. I imagine this is not for everyone. I'm talking about both original and this formula version too. I also use their bar soap and the laundry additive which is suppose to last through 10 washings. Have no way of measuring that. But I apply it to all my personal clothing and bedding once a year as summer approaches. This includes my camping gear..especialy the camping gear. The reason I discovered this was I had a mite like bites all over my trunk but above the waist and below the chest. Dermatologist sent biopsy off to two different labs when it came back un identified insect bite it went out for a second opinion. Bottom line I'd insisted it was but the PA at Dermatologists office flat our refused to believe it. She was so upset that the lab reports agreed with me she intercepted the report addressed and to be mailed to me from their office. She really was afraid of me and what I might say to her superiors. But the meds she had prescribed did NOTHING. Nor did sulfur products I also tried bought here on Amazon. BUT Defense did the trick and quickly. Only thing I agree with is it's not something my pets brought into the house. But I did visit over night a FILTHY DIRTY CAMPGROUND at Flathead lake two years ago and it's outhouse toilets were over flowing. I still say...I picked up what ever it was there. My camp guest did not thank goodness she was in her late 70's. Mine infection lasted 5 months until I found this. No one else in family got it and I did wash all the pet mats and all bedding in house just the same too. But my own personal clothes and not the other people. I honestly do believe it stopped it in it's tracks. I keep it on hand year round but like I said I get the laundry soap and apply 1 to 2 times throughout the warmer seasons. I also think it may have helped heal a toe infection triggered by a sensitivity to the adhesive used on a bandaid. I do not visit spa's or public gyms so can't speak up about how good it is for athletes foot or other yeast and fungal infections. It's a harsh soap so I use lotion to counter that.

I use this soap religiously after every session. If I notice a little athlete's foot or odd looking spot, I leave the soap on it for 30-45 seconds before washing it off. Most things are cleared up within a few days. And I find the scent to be way better than the original. It's a strong peppermint smell, so some people may not care for it, but the original scent smells like pine trees, which wasn't my favorite.

I absolutely love this product!I thought I’d enjoy the peppermint scent more, but I personally like the original scent better!I think it’s effective because it sets out or removes oils from the skin. Not an issue for me as I don’t have naturally dry skin already, but might be for others.Don’t use in your hair…

I’ve been meaning to do a review for quite some time. I’ve been consistently using defense products including their body wash and clean wipes for two years. I have not found anything better. I stopped using antibacterial soaps and needed to find a replacement. These products have not only keep me clean, they have prevented infections and boils from forming. I give full credit to this company for keeping them at bay. I know they do not make any of these claims for their products, but this has been my experience. I have recommended them to my family and have the same results. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Thank you so much Defense for changing my life for the better.
