It's wire what can I say

I bought some of this ultra-flexible wire to make electronic test leads. For this application, high conductivity and flexibility are important, also resistance to high temperatures. It was perfect! I might also add that the wire solders very well. and the red color was not affected by soldering heat. The only downside is that it was almost $1 per foot for 12 ga stranded copper. For those that don't have experience with such wire, be careful when stripping it to nick or cut the very fine strands. I found that one can cut through most of the insulation with a sharp blade, then twist off the cut end. Perhaps a 10ga wire stripper would be equivalent, with less chance of nicking strands than using a 12ga stripper. You will find out in the first cuts if your stripper is suited to this task or not.

It better then I thought it would be very nice. I would buy that brand name again. If you're looking for a nice soft wire this is it.

Golf cart rewire for my lithium battery swap. These silicone covered wires are very nice and were perfect for my purpose. Thick and flexible and soft, nice length without buying too much. Probably 10x better than other wire sold online. These would be a reason Radio Shack went out of business.
