Perfect for bridging networks
It's easy to setup and secure. Have good throughput between the two ends. It goes through houses (between two points a mile away) but can't get through hills (not that really any radios with any sort of bandwidth could do that - it's just important that people realize the limitations of radio links). The software on the end devices is easy to setup and the quickstart guides work. It's not at a "beginner" level, but if you have ever set-up a WiFi router without using a "guided setup" - this should be a piece of cake.

Wish this item wasn't discontinued
Didn't come with dish, but i wasn't going to use it anyway. Im told that you need to be very precise if you want to use it. I have 3 of these connecting different buildings through dense forest up to 1900 ft apart. The far one tops out at about 25mbps which is plenty for a single HD Camera and a little bit of music streaming. I wish they didn't discontinue this product, If i do have a problem in the future, im not sure if i'll be able to switch out components or have to switch the whole setup out.

One Star
Compared to the loco M900 the bandwidth and reach stinks

It works well at close range
I put these radios up and shot them 11 miles. They were mounted on a pole on the roof. There were no trees but still they just wouldn't link up well. Once i got them linked up they didn't pass much threw them. I believe because they were not mounted up way high on a tower the fresnel zone killed the horizontal polorization. Because of the low freq. going that far the fresnel zone is massively large. Replaced with 5.2 ghz radios and used these radios in a closer application. Worked well going 1 mile.

Its a winner
Like every Ubiquiti NanoBridge I've owned, or used, it is an excellent product and stands up to northern Alaskan weather. I have sveral of the900 mHz units and the 5 gHz ones. This 900 mHz unit is working over a 5 mile path, gives me over 50mbps throuput. Its a winner.

Good Solution, Weak on options.
I will start by saying it does what it is supposed to, and works great. However, i misunderstood some of the form functionality and thought i could use an different external antenna, should i choose to. However, this radio's external antenna option is disabled and all the dish is doing is focusing what the internal antenna broadcasts. In my particular application the signal is weak, but working. If i could use a Yagi antenna, i could overcome the obstacles in the way. This particular unit requires a more unobstructed and direct line of sight, even though it is considered a NOLS frequency.Should your application be direct line of sight over a long distance, this is a great unit at a great price (i have used other paired bridge units costing $1,000 and like this one much better). Just be aware that you can only use the reflector supplied, and if you run into problems there are no second options for antenna even though there is an external antenna connection.

Pleased with the performance.
It's a well thought out and very good product that does exactly what it's designed to do. I am posting this review via the nano bridge. The retailer had some packaging issues that were never resolved regarding missing bolts and nuts for one of the 2 units, but this is not the fault of the product itself. Very good system.

No replacement parts available.
A good unit. Was difficult to align when the second unit was impeded by trees and not visible directly. My biggest pet peeve is that you cannot just buy the bridge as a replacement part. We suffered from a severe wind/rain storm and it toppled the tower. The unit was exposed to rain and had water inside. I hoped to purchase just the wireless bridge portion but was told that I had to buy another complete set.
