Clarion CMD6 Marine CD/MP3/WMA Receiver with USB Port (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

The radio is exactly as it is stated, very easy replacement radio ,would have given 5 stars except very late on delivery I wish amazon would stop using usps and only use FedEx or UPS anytime amazon sends something by the united states postal service you may get it on time and you may not but when you have a problem they could care less and there is no one to complain to, but amazon is all ways helpful. So other than the incompetent people at the usps this is a fine easy replacement that I would recom.

Waited a long time to get a receiver with all the new features (USB, iPOD, multi file support, etc.) available to the car stereo market but the wait was worth it. The receiver has worked flawlessly for the past month that I've owned it. Feature packed and well constructed, I would recommend to anyone looking for an advanced receiver.The only issue has been in the availability of the remote (MW1), which is still at the time of this review not available. This has proven to be a real hassle and a source of frustration. It would have been nice if Clarion would have made everything available at the time of release and BEFORE the start of boating season.

I am giving this stereo 4 stars as it had everything I wanted except that it did not fit where I planned to use it. Not the stereo's fault but my own. Replacing an older stereo, the knobs stuck out too far & interfered with a hatch door below it. Luckily enough there was a decent resale value on an auction site where I recovered 95% of my money.

Overall, works well. Replaced a 14 year old Jensen product that had served its time. One thing I miss is the Loudness button that the Jensen had.

I have ordered a clarion CMD 6 twice and both times the market place has sent me something totally different. I called in today to complain and has directed to the Philippines where the customer service rep read a script to me three times. This is not helping me solve my problems. I need help ordering clarion CMD 6 and I could return to a happy amazon customer. So far that is not happening.

This radio lasted for not 12 months, customer service sucks. Won't turn on when you do get it on it won't turn off worked good for about 11 months. Now I can't get customer service to answer the phone.Had a clarion in my last boat 4 yrs no problems. Look for a different brand thats what I'm going to do as soon as I throw this one in the trash

THE PRODUCT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. I COULD NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS UNIT AND A BRAND NEW UNIT AT TWICE THE PRICE. THE REMOTE WORKS GREAT AND ELIMINATES THE NEED TO WIRE IN A SECONDARY CONTROL.

My 2005 Baja 232 Baja Islander came with a Clarion radio. This CMD6 Is Awesome!!! After install you could see 4holes. Clarion did'nt make it easy for the swap. Now I have to get some Fiberglass work!! ooch!!
