I hope never to be able to review how these perform, obviously, so I can only comment on the basics.The items mount very easily and neatly, and they can be used on every type of fire, which is great for my home both to reduce the number of extinguishers needed, but also to avoid using the wrong one if flustered.Bought a pair and consider them good value for the protection they offer my home.

This product arrived yesterday. It looks great and will almost certainly be able to put out small fires, which is all I purchased it for. The pan fire sachet is a great addition as it means you don't have to waste the extinguisher in the event of a pan fire. However, I do feel like it was a bit on the expensive side. On the other side of the coin, you can't put a price on safety. Overall I'm happy with it and if it keeps me and my cat safe, that's all that matters.

We had a nasty oven fire where the grill caught fire with a greasy tray. Shutting the door did nothing to stop the flames, so I gave it two short blasts with the fire extinguisher and that was the end of the fire. I won't go without an extinguisher again

Always difficult to rate fire extinguishers because you don't know if they work until you use them. I've read great reviews for this make and equally bad reviews (by people who claim to be experts). The extinguisher claims to put out the majority of different fires and is ideal if it lives up to its claims. They have a EN3 certification (European fire testing standard), but as far as I can see, no BS certification (British standard). They also have CE certification (European health, safety and environmental protection standards). There is no expiry date and the recommendation is to have them tested by an qualified person every year. They have a pressure gauge which should always be in the green zone and they should be stored upright. The 500ml extinguisher I bought comes with a carrier which can be screwed to the wall. The discharge time claimed by the manufacturer on the 500ml extinguisher is only 10-12 seconds, so would only be useful for very small fires. I bought this for my caravan and I have also purchased a fire safety stick (much more expensive 50 second discharge, BSi certified,15 year shelf life), because its better to be safe than sorry in a caravan and this way I have two means of protection.

There was insufficient pressure in the fire extinguisher that was delivered, the pressure gauge line was showing red, had to be returned. Pretty disappointing, they should check these safety devices before sending. Doesn't bring much confidence to the supplier. Its a pity as the concept was good but if there isn't enough pressure to put out a fire is not suitable for purpose.

En cas de départ de feu dans la cuisine, sur un panneau électrique sur des combustibles, etc.C'est important de le noter car très souvent sur le marché vous trouverez des extincteurs pour départ de feu électriques.Perso, j'en ai pris connaissance que trop tard. Mes premiers extincteurs achetés sont limités à certaines utilisations bien précises. Ce qui n'est pas le cas pour ces 2 FIREXO. De plus ils sont légers, maniables et faciles d'utilisation. A avoir obligatoirement chez soi. Mieux vaut prévenir que guérir comme on dit :)
