Scholastic Little : Old Macdonald Hand-Puppet Board Book

My son received this hand-puppet board book as a gift for his first birthday. It is absolutely adorable. Each puppet is different and reflects the animals in the "Old MacDonald" song. The material is sturdy and the puppets are nicely stitched. My hand and fingers fit comfortably with room to spare for those who have larger hands. My son has enjoyed watching me move the puppets around and going through the book while singing the song. My only complaint about the product is that the book is rather thin. I though it was going to be a fabric book. I do not leave my son's board books out for him to go through whenever he wants because he chews pieces off and chokes on them. I thought that with this being mostly fabric and the book having Velcro that I would be able to allow him to play with it whenever. However, the book is so flimsy that it could probably easily be torn off of the fabric and get into my son's mouth. So until he's a little older and no longer trying to eat books, I'll definitely need to supervise him with this toy.

We like this puppet book but it doesnt have words where expected for the book. starts out with "he had a pig" or something instead of starting with the complete nursery rhyme. it's ok. just fun and interactive for babies to teach animals and sounds

I bought this for my 7month old son as he loved looking at my fingers while I sing poems to him. He gets excited looking at these as I sing old McDonald to him. I feels it's a good engaging and educational puppet/toy for babies and for toddlers as well. Only issue I have is that it after washing the colors didn't stay the way I received them.

Amazon continues to give used used items. I purchased a new book why resell a used one!? So sick of returning so I kept but found a hair and a scratch inside book!!! Went to the Garbage .. the book is also pretty useless, puppets are hard to switch with fingers and the tiny book that comes with barely has a few words. Waste of money.

This finger puppets are very cute and colorful. They look like one big family and almost look like they are dancing or they can be swaying or you can move your fingers individually. It is made for an adult hand. It is a very cute way to read and give a visual representation of the animals.
