JessicurlGelebration Spray

Always been a big fan of Jessicurl products, and I LOVE that they offer fragrance free (FF) versions. I’m allergic to synthetic fragrances and it’s incredibly hard to find curly hair products without them. I have very frizzy, fine, color treated, 2B-2C hair and this product adds the soft hold that’s not at all crispy. I use this Gelebration spray about 12-15 pumps or a palm full, in addition to the Rockin Ringlets (about a quarter sized amount) and it produces beautiful and touchable curls. Volume is good too. I always try new products when I find a FF line, but have for over a decade always come back to Jessicurl.

I've read nothing but positive things about Jessicurl products. I have fine, wavy hair- and many others with the same hair type agreed. However... I didn't have the same good experience. The shampoo/conditioner made my head itch something AWFUL. The Spiralicious gel and Gelebration spray were just too heavy for my hair, even though the Gelebration is more for fine hair. My hair also flash dried- which I have never had happen before. Possible with the Aloeba conditioner for sure. Again, it has to be something about ME, not necessarily Jessicurl. So many people love it- and I'm sure it's a great product, just not the product line for me unfortunately so wanted to share my experience just in case it might help someone else.

Great product. Doesn’t spray, it is more of a tiny concentrated stream. I replaced the “spraying” part with a regular pop top like their other products, now it comes out just fine. My hair needed more hold so I switched to rockin ringlets but if you don’t want a lot of hold, this product is great for frizz control. I still use to on my crown to stick down the frizzy pieces after styling.

I developed an allergy to fragrance, so finding a product for my fine wavy/curly hair was really hard. Until I found this! I love it!! Use it right after the shower...spray all over and then comb through, let air dry. Beautiful shiny and soft hair with no frizziness. Sometimes the pump cligs but I clean it with some warm water ever so often. Also you should shake the bottle well before spritzing.

I've never been a big fan of gel, but so far I like this one. Its not too heavy on my fine hair, and I don't get that crispy effect most gels give. The only drawback for me is that you can't adjust the sprayer to do more of a broad spray rather than the narrower stream it gives out.
