Why didnt i buy one sooner?!
Originally I ordered one to see if i even liked this style of key management, I was going to try the cheap one out then upgrade to a KeyBar branded one. After three weeks i realized I LOVE THIS LIL FELLA!! I could spend $80 on a KeyBar but why when this $10 bar works great and looks good! I will say that adding keys takes a bit of finessing especially with spacers but honestly NBD for me i fiddle for fun. only down side is the screws "can" back out if you dont have them nice and tight. i put a dab of plumbers puddy on them and have zero play now i am content!

KeySmart Wins, Negative Reviews Lose
Please read if you're unsure about this product. The negative reviews are misleading. First impressions based on reviews vs. actually having the product: this is super easy to setup. I'm not sure why people claim otherwise. Secondly, don't get the Flex model, apparently it's plastic and breaks easily. It might be tempting because it's $10 and if you're like me, that's a suitable price you'd pay for this product. The one I got, the Compact model for $20, is steel (or titanium, not sure, read product description) and won't break easily - it's worth the extra $10. Third, the KeySmart Compact serves its purpose. Although a bit steep in price for my liking, my 5 keys don't jingle around or get stuck through each other's rings when I hook the clip to my jeans now. Now I have the KeySmart, a tiny flashlight (Lumintop EDC01, highly recommend for anyone), my car key fob and a contactless surface tool all on my infini-key ring. The KeySmart also makes it easier to locate each key. I have 3 on one side, my house keys, and 2 on the other side, my work keys. I fit 5 keys here, plus the little dongle included, comfortably. Yes, the little square hook you see connected to a ring on my keys is optionally placed inside the KeySmart. So the instructions say you can fit 6 keys, or 5 keys plus the included. dongle. The package included expanders, which I used, however if you want to expand again for more than 6 keys, I believe you have to purchase additional expander packs. If you have more than 6 keys, buy 1-2 expander packs to avoid wasting time. You can always return them later or keep them in case you get more keys to add. I can't comment on the durability of this product when you have 8+ keys, which may be the reason others complained, but again a lot of them complained about the plastic Flex model. There are plenty of instructional videos online, including KeySmart's own video. However once I started assembling, it took me less than 3 minutes. The only thing you need that's not included is a flat head screwdriver, any size will do. This is simply to unscrew the screws to disassemble the KeySmart so you can add your keys, and then tighten it back up. If you tighten it and find that it's hard to take your key(s) out for practical use, loosen the screws a little. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, it's convenient, it's aesthetically pleasing, it's durable, it's practical and it just makes sense. My only qualm was the $20 price point for such a small thing, but honestly it was worth it. I'm not writing this review for any reason other than to discount the negative reviews I saw on KeySmart which almost led me to not buying it. Good luck with yours if you decide to buy.

Almost perfect--4.5/5 stars
This is a great product, and arguably deserving of a five star rating. However, the price of this product (which believe it or not, is a relatively good deal on Amazon compared to buying direct and from other sources), made me hesitate giving this a perfect 5 out of 5 stars rating. So for about what I paid (~$20), I can say this product is still worth the money. Installation was a breeze--it took me five minutes to figure out how to unscrew it and add the extra padding to even out the spacing so that the two sides would be aligned with different number of keys on each.I really like that there are two opposing sides for two sets of keys. I used one side for keys to my parents' house and garage, and I used the other side for my place. Because my parents place has more keys than mine does, the extra padding provided had to be placed for balance of the two sides. The first time I put everything together, the two sides were unaligned. I had to unscrew (which isn't hard--I used a penny), and insert another small black pad (about eight extra are provided). After installation, I immediately got a remark about how cool it looked. And it does, it makes my entire key chain (or lack thereof) setup look better. I now have my car key hooked up to the provided "link" on one end of the KeySmart along with a small USB thumb drive next to it... and that's it! My keys are well organized to not jangle, and better placed for easier accessibility when opening doors at home and at my parents'. The best part to me, however, is that the "cut" sides of the keys fold neatly into the unit, facing the other "cut" side of the other set of folded keys...this is a huge plus because if I have my keys in my palm while resting that hand with my weight on something, the "cut" sides of the keys no longer poke my palm! The same goes for your pocket. No more poking! While I'd love to see this product for $15 (a much more reasonable price to me), I understand this is a somewhat niche item. However, based on this factor, this item falls just a teeny bit below perfection--4.5 stars out of 5.

The plastic one lasted for YEARS, this is the same but metal, should work great for decades
The plastic frame on my old plastic one broke, but the internal parts were OK, so now I have spares, but since they were fine, I fully expect this metal one to last me until I don't need keys anymore. The size of the hole for the clip (that can hold to a keyring) was slightly different between old and new, but I used the new one no problems and could ream out the old one if I never needed one on each side (I won't). Very happy with the old one, and this one costs the same as I paid before but is higher quality and is red so I can find my keys if ever they fall to the ground.I love having my keys combined, and it protects my pockets from abrasion, and it isn't hard to take the key out, but if there is 1 key you use multiple times per day, it is easy to have it out separately. If this breaks I'll update the review but I don't expect to have to do that.

Excellent product
This key holder was for my husband. After reading the reviews I was hesitant to buy but did and was not disappointed. It works perfectly as described. My husband is very happy with his gift, his keys do not tear holes in his pocket now. Thank you!

Utterly brilliant!!!
This is the most useful and well designed item, my keys are now as compact as a Swiss Army knife and take up no room in my bag. It is a little pricey but worth it as so well made and will last. Do not hesitate to buy this item, keys are literally a pain in the bottom at times and this sorts that problem out beautifully.

Good quality
Great product, but quite expensive, but if you would like a good key holder for long term, then it's worth the investment.
