Mini Flat Iron Smart Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Straightener Negative Ionic Technology for Travel, Black

Long overdue review. As a hairstylist (primarily men's hair), this is my go-to tool. This mini flat iron is the perfect length and width to style short-medium length men's hair. Excellent for adding bends and light curls for extra texture and volume. In general, flat irons are difficult to use with shorter length hair. Additionally, I own two for personal use. One at home and the other for travel. In terms of function, it's no frills. You plug it in, flip the switch on, weight about 20-30 seconds for it to reach max heat. Disclaimer: I'm not saying it's the best product out there - I believe there's far better flat irons but I've grown to love this especially at for $10 USD it's unbeatable. With that said, below are a few considerations... 1. There is no temperature adjustment. It's one simple on and off switch. Now, if you have thin hair or fragile-chemically damaged hair, I would recommend a temperature adjustment flat iron (and adjust to 200-300F range). I do not recommend this as it rises to 400F, which is excellent for thick black or brown hair. 2. It does not auto-shut off if you are not using it. Nowadays there are smart flat irons that will shut off or cool down if you are not using it. So with this, it can be easy to accidently leave on and not realize it. I'm guilty of leaving it on and forgetting about it for hours. Not good on my part BUT the bright side is, it still works like a charm. So, be careful with where you rest your flat iron, I'd suggest some heat resistant platform and a distance away from flammable (and meltable) items.

Love love love this flat iron, I was worried about how small it is but it works amazing! The only thing i would change is being able to control the temp, but still my hair is not damaged by this product!

This little iron is great. It heats up in seconds and cools down quickly. I actually got it to iron my shirt sleeves when I roll them up so they stay in place and look neat. It's great for this purpose if your in a hurry or traveling. I imagine it works great on your hair too but I've never used it for that. Lol My wifw did a couple of times and said it worked well. It's dual purpose, well made and inexpensive. I highly recommend this brand.

I could write a whole essay on this straightener but I’ll keep it short and simple. Pros: Small size makes it easy to use while traveling, heats up quickly, works very well (even on my thick, wavy hair), has a locking mechanism to keep it shut, comes with a heat-resistant glove (I personally don’t use it but I’m sure others will find it handy), inexpensive. Cons: Being as small as it is it may take a little longer to straighten a lot of hair, It does not have any heat settings only an on and off switch. (but despite this it does not overheat, it stays at a consistent temperature) Overall I really enjoyed this straightener! And for those of you that travel trust me when I say it will come in handy and takes up very little space.
