One of the best preparation books
This SAT subject Test prep book was one of the best books on Amazon!! They give you all the strategies and tips for scoring a perfect 800. Before any content review, there is a diagnostic test to access your prior knowledge in biology. The answer explanations are also detailed, and concise. For each chapter of the content review, there are mini drills to make sure that you understood the material. Overall a very great preparation book for the SAT Biology Test!

Very useful but lacking some information
I found this princeton review book to be very helpful in studying for SAT Bio. I was able to learn many of the body systems and concepts from this book. However, this book does not contain all the information needed for the SAT Bio subject test. This book lacks information on apical/laterl meristems and merismatic growth. The book does not contain alternation of generations in ferns and plants in general. The practice test was too easy (significantly easier than the real test I took in Dec 5 2020). There is also minimal information on plant anatomy, and missing some small, specific details in phylums, and embryonic growth. In my opinion, those we are looking to prepare for the SAT bio said buy both the Princeton Review version and the Barron's version. The Barron's version goes more in depth than needed, but the practice tests are way too hard and NOT representative of the actual SAT. I would recommend Princeton review to cover all the topics, and Barron's as a supplement for any extra details missing.

Helpful, but lots of mistakes that cause confusion
I liked this book because it had drills in which I could practice what I learned. But, I came to notice that a lot of the drills have mistakes in them. The answers explanations are not clearly presented in a way that most would understand. I have found no big mistakes in the Barrons book, so I would definitely recommend that one. My advice is to do the Princeton Review but be very vigilant for any mistakes you catch, because in all honestly, this book really does help you grasp the important concepts. After this book, do a thorough revision with the Barrons. I went a step further and did a final review with Kaplan since I had time, but the first two are what you should focus on.
