The FastRack Home Brew Ohio Carboy Cap is designed for 3, 5, and 6-gallon carboys, featuring two convenient openings for attaching tubes, airlocks, or siphons, with caps included for both openings. Weighing just 31.1g, this lightweight and durable cap is essential for any home brewing enthusiast.

## Description

To use the Carboy Cap: Push a racking cane through the center tube, place on the top of your carboy, blow into the other tube, and a siphon is easily started. May also be used for blow-off when fermenting. Attach a length of 3/8" ID tubing to the hood, and run the tubing into a bucket of water. When used this way, the carboy cap takes the place of an airlock. Note: This item is not compatible with Better Bottle Carboys.

**Q: Can I use this to seal a converted sanke keg?**
A: Hello Hunter,This cap will not work on a sanke keg unfortunately. I have seen where customers use a rubber stopper to do this, but I am not sure of the size you would need. I hope this information helps you some.Sincerely,Marissa

**Q: What are the diameters of both opening? Looking at closed CO2 transfers...**
A: The bigger one has the same ID as 3/8th inch tubing, the smaller one measured at ~4/16th an inch.

**Q: Will this fit a standard wide mouth glass gallon jug?**
A: Thank you for your inquiry. The carboy caps do not fit the wide mouth gallon jugs. The carboy caps do work on a 3, 5, or 6 gallon glass carboy.

**Q: Dose this fit a 18.9 lts carboy made in Italy ?**
A: I believe that it should.  It is fairly flexible.
