Bonide Termite & Carpenter Ant Killer, 32 oz Concentrated Insect Killer, Long Lasting Treatment for Lawn & Home

This stuff is scary good. It kills carpenter ants very easily. I spray it around the base of my house once a year and it keeps the ants away. I'll find one occasionally that tried to cross the barrier, and it's almost dead, or dead. I normally buy a couple of cheap spray bottles and use those...and wear nitrile gloves.

This is a picture of carpenter ants that invaded my camper that sat idle for a while. I followed the mixing directions and wiped them ants out lickety split. A veteran camper told me she discovered this product and it has never failed her. She said she sprays it 2 times year and has never had any further problems in her camper. I recommended it to another camper with a carpenter ant problem and he said it worked very well and fast. Carperter ants are tough. Don't mess around with other stuff. Get Bonide and be done with those pesky ants. Oct 22 Update: Treated our camper 4 months ago that had a heavy infestation of carpenter ants. This stuff WORKS!!! Very pleased with the performance. Not an ant to be seen. We will spray yearly to prevent a reinfection. Don't waste your time with inferior products. Initially the product seemed expensive but the bottle is concentrated so it makes several gallons. Don't waste your time or $$$ on inferior products.

So I have followed the directions on this product and read a lot of articles about carpenter ants and how challenging they can be to eradicate. I have noticed a reduction in the number of ants coming into our home. I feel that I need to spray a third time and bait accordingly in order to get rid of these pests. We have had professional extermination service and they couldn’t get rid of the ants, so I took matters into my own hands. Not sure if it’s a failure of the application or the product, but only 4 stars since we still have the ants after two sprays this spring.

Been using Bonide Termite and Carpenter Ant Killer Concentrate for 15+ years. Have issues with Black Ants at our heavily wooded Cabin, I apply it per instructions every Spring and it works the whole year thru. Also we have not had any issues with Termites since using this product. Which we did have minor issues after we purchased the place that the previous owners neglected to take care of. Stuff Works Great !

It does what it said, a Great product, I used it annually for years now.

People having issues saying this is not killing the ants.. well it killed carpenter (black ants) running rampant up the sides of my brick and mortar foundation. I had a bit drip on my deck while mixing and my deck paint came right up and also came up all over the outside of the deck. It killed my grass where it spilled and killed all life around the foundation so do not spray on grass or plants you do not want dead it really eats away at everything you spray it on. I sprayed this and poured it and it kills beetles and anything mostly. Not seen it work great on red ants but I would not treat my yard with this for red ants use something that will not kill grass . This KILLS Grass and plants. Do not spray on painted areas as my deck is ruined. I would suggest a pour for termites not a spray. I used this in a pump sprayer and it was effective for the ants that refused to die with ortho home defense. Use with caution it is very toxic.

Let me start by saying I do not like to use harsh chemicals in/around my house but when the natural products fail to deliver the results, I am not above turning to a proven product like this one. I had the occasional big ant showing up in my new post and beam home. I tried using Terro grnules around the foundation but they were still finding their way inside. I used this termite control and bam, no more ants. Not a one. Very effective product after one application around the foundation of my home. And given it is in concentrate form it will last a good long time.
