I actually paid full-price for this item myself, and it was a great purchase.This has lasted far longer than any other iPhone charging cable I've ever had. It's thicker, sturdier, and has never given me the dreaded "not compatible" error message. The bright red means it's easy to find by my bed, and the heavier gauge means I don't worry about breaking it by stepping on it sometimes.

During testing, this cable delivered 2.0 of 2.1 amps of current. Other cables on Amazon carried between .5 and 1.4 amps, resulting in longer charge times. The short version of this cable works equally well.

For the past 6 months I have been using this cable to charge my iPhone 6 Plus. I have had no issues at all. My phone charges fairly quickly using this cable as well (although I'm not sure how much a cable has to do with the actual charging speed of a device).
