Review: Fit to purposes - As didcribed it fit to the lense
Review: Lot of cost for a lens cap / adapter but had to be done - I have the red version of the TG6 so this matches very well, and it comes with a lens cap so i feel happy now about throwing my Tough in my backpack with fear of damage to the otherwise exposed lens, otherwise the weak point of this "tough" camera' . Really it should have come with this built in. Now i can, if i want add filters and lenses. I didnt buy the alternative that comes with a blade shutter as that was just more to go wrong. FWIW since ive seen comments to the contrary this doesnt affect the watertightness of the camera at all as can be seen from the fact that olympus sell add on underwater lenses with exactly the same adapter ring as this (Literally the same). Its just a ring that has a thread which will accept filters, extra lenses etc.

**Q: does it comes with a cover?**

**Q: Has anyone used this underwater with protective filter? Hoping no to run into coral or gear like last year-thx**
A: I have four of these adapters. I use two of them for the TCON-T01 teleconverter (honestly not that useful, but does give you a little more reach) and FCON-T01 fish eye lens (a lot of fun). The other two hold a 40.5mm circular polarizing filter or a 40.5mm UV filter (which is used primarily as protection for the primary lens on the camera). When submersing, check for air bubbles between the camera and the filter (it's not an air tight seal, so you want to make sure there are no trapped bubbles that will cause distortion). You can quickly detach the CLA-T01 adapter from the camera body and shake any bubbles loose. When returning to land, be sure to detach the adapter from the camera & rinse everything with clean (& salt free) water. Air dry, then take care of any spotting with lens cleaner and cloth. Also, you can use a 40.5 mm lens cap to cover the UV or polarizer filter when not in use.

**Q: Its does not fit my TG-5. Do i need another adapter or what?**
A: It fits the TG-5 perfectly and includes a lens cap.

**Q: Does this fit the TG-4?**
A: Yes, the adapter is made to fit the TG-4.

I have the red version of the TG6 so this matches very well, and it comes with a lens cap so i feel happy now about throwing my Tough in my backpack with fear of damage to the otherwise exposed lens, otherwise the weak point of this "tough" camera' . Really it should have come with this built in. Now i can, if i want add filters and lenses. I didnt buy the alternative that comes with a blade shutter as that was just more to go wrong.
