Healthy Origins Probiotic 30 Billion Cfu 60 Vcaps (One Size, Multi)

I have used several brands of probiotic products that I've lost count. I was skeptical about this one for fear that it would be a disappointment as all the others. Now, don't get me wrong, I've had mild success with certain brands, but not overwhelming results until I starting using this product.I've read reviews about this product on other websites as well as on Amazon about how wonderful it's been to them and decided to purchase from Amazon (lowest and best price). Anyway, I've been taking about 1 1/2 weeks. Based on some of the reviews, when you first start taking the capsules, it's possible your body will react negatively due to detox process which is very real (headaches, overall general ill feelings, etc.) Well, I experienced all of that and then some. After day five and tired of feeling this way, I almost stopped using this product and resume purchasing the tried and true that works for me (Align), but I wanted something more effective. On day six, I received a breakthrough. My head stopped hurting, the bloating, gas, stomach pains disappeared. An added bonus, I became regular, (which hasn't happened in a very long time). I am a 56 year old female, fairly active, exercise regularly, but have struggled with constipation. My regularity is even on schedule (around the same time everyday) and worst case scenario, (every other day). I can live with that. I am in the process of re-purchasing another 60-day supply. I take one capsule daily with a full glass of water on an empty stomach every morning upon awakening.

This is my favorite probiotic so far. Vegan, no nasty ingredients, non GMO, 30 bilion units and no Streptococcus Thermophilus (I don't react well to probiotics that contain it). It helped digestion and most importantly, it helped with my acne that I've been battling for years. It did not solve the problem completely, but it calmed those big painful bumps and eventually made it go away.

This product helps me. I just wish that it didn't have certain minor, what I think, are toxins. Too bad it's not organic. I'll be switching to an organic probiotic when I can afford to, I think. But, this does help me a lot.

I've taken probiotics before but this is the first supplement to give me severe bloating, gas, cramps, stomach pain, diarrhea, and just basically make me ill. Instead of improving digestion, it completely destroyed mine every time I took it. I thought it would get better after a few doses, but no. I mostly eat well and am in good health but I do have a sweet tooth and enjoy small doses of alcohol, neither of which are good for intestinal flora, therefore the supplement. Will have to switch to something else, this one is a complete fail.

One of my doctors suggested this product to me and I have been using this now for almost 2 years. I was using 5 billion and she suggested the 30 billion. Good product and I would recommend it to any one who needs to use every now and again or some one like myself who uses it on a regular basis. I also give this to my parents who are both in their mid 80's and they seem to not have any issues with it and it also does not seem to interfere with any of their prescription medications. I would suggest making sure you check with your doctor before using this if taking other vitamins/medications. I now purchase this product in the Economy size which is the 150 Vcaps.
