Perfect net cups for hydroponics in Wide-mouth mason jars & 2 7/8" drilled holes!!
These are perfect for fitting into wide-mouth Mason jars using the Kratky method, or into a slightly less than 3" drill hole in pipe or float trays. The tage stakes are great for labeling what you've planted too!Very sturdy, but not brittle plastic.Be sure to use course perilite or coco-core. Holes are a bit large for the smaller perilite, and some will fall through, if you use it. If you use activated charcoal, the same applies. Get the larger sized activated charcoalJiffy 7s fit easily into the bottom, then I filled around the edges with course perilite for stability, with some course charcoal to keep the water sweet. Take off the lids and rings, place in net cup, fill jar to just under net cup level with water + fertilizer, place jiffy7 or rock wool with started plant in the bottom, add perilite, then charcoal to stabilize and block light, add a little more water+fertilizer to 1/8-1/4" above the bottom of the cup, put sock, foil or paper around jar to block light (or you can paint the jars black in advance) & enjoy! You can also use other, larger containers with lids for larger plants, like tomatoes. Just cut a 2 7/8th inch hole in the top! Large plastic coffee containers, soup containers, etc. work well!Periodically check the water level, so it is about 1/4" above the bottom of the net cup! I'll likely buy more of these as I expand my hydroponics!

Not 60 cups!
The listing is confusing which is why it’s getting 4 stars. I read reviews and several said this was for 60 cups and 30 tags but I received 30 of each. Seller would do better to just list as 30 pieces and the tags as is side note. Still a decent price and product from what I can tell. A little thinner than another set I had to return but should still get the job done without issue. I purchased to fit inside wide-mouth mason jars for indoor, self-watering herb garden. Aside from confusion in listing details, wish cups were a little bit deeper to accommodate more soil so I don’t have to fertilize as often. Time will tell how well the overall system works but I imagine I won’t have any issues with the cups themselves.

Good, but expensive by the pound
Wish they had a wider lip that would allow more secure hang-off in holes in PVC pipes. Would not say they have a wide lip as presently designed.

3" works best for Hydroponics
I previously bought two inch. The 3 inch pots are better for starting seeds to be transferred to the garden and planted in the ground. More room for roots to grow before transplanting.
