I have my personal PC, and my work laptop. One is Windows 11 and the other is Windows 9. I contacted the seller and the USB switch is compatible with Windows 11. After buying this switch it has greatly freed up the space on my desk, easy to switch both computers.

I think by active maybe you mean "Does it require external power?" I found that without the external microUSB power, it works but drops connection periodically. This could be because my mech keyboard has leds. I recommend using the external power (active) connection.
