BELLBullitt Carbon Helmet (Matte Carbon - Large)

The Roland sands collection is the holy Grail in terms of racing helmets. Always loved these Bullitt helmets. Now with carbon fiber and racing design it's just awesome.

amazing quality and fit. Carbon weave is perfect. Chrome accents are retro cool. The brown interior looks fantastic. Fit is spot. Come w clear bubble an black tine flat. Didn't think I would like the bubble look, but I like it even more than the normal flat screen. I just ordered a tinted bubble for it. The straps are easy to operate - an over under under snap situation. The weight for a full face is terrific too. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and comfortable!

First off I have always HATED full face helmets. I have a Bell air scout which I live as it’s a 3/4 helmet and weights a little over a pound. I also have a Bell Eliminator which is fairly light weight at a little over 3 ounces, however, I can’t ride for more than an hour with this helmet on as it causes pain in my jaw from the cheek pads. I am headed for a half cross country trip and wanted the protection of a full face that I could stand to be in for 9 hours a day. As soon as I put this helmet on my head I literally said out loud “wow, now this is how a helmet should fit.” This is made for round heads which I apparently have according to how this feels on me. It weighs less than 3 ounces, has a huge field of vision, and honestly feels like I am wearing a 3/4 helmet. Plenty of air flow. Yes there is wind noise but it’s no worse than what I am used to, and I wear ear plugs. Yes it whistles IF the wind hits it in a certain way, say from the fairing. Neither of these things bother me. I am so happy to have throw helmet for my trip, and it will now be my go-to helmet. I installed a Cardo freecom system in it just fine. The wires don’t hide perfectly, but they are out of the way. I can’t believe I was able to get this for about 1/2 price as there was 1 available in my size that someone had returned after only opening the box! It’s was 100% brand new. I see why everyone lives this helmet.

Great helmet, not sure I can really tell the weight difference between the standard helmets vs this carbon fiber one….I have both. I left a star off because it’s over priced for what you get honestly, not Amazon’s fault though.

The helmet arrived in new condition. Surprisingly, it had a dark visor included as well as the BELL's helmet carry bag! That said, however, there was no helmet draw string sack. The helmet carry bag opening is a little on a small side and the helmet rubs against zippers when you put it in or take it out. I'm afraid if you do this repeatedly you might damage the paint eventually. So, a draw string sack is a must really and since it is such a luxury edition (carbon fiber, dark visor and carrying bag included) why not include a standard helmet sack? Also, the red leather tab attached to a D-ring seems of poorer quality than the one I got on my Triple Threat Bullitt helmet. It's just too soft and kind of fraying at the edges. Doesn't really match the overall quality of the helmet.

I ordered this helmet in XL. I received a smaller sized helmet with the interior size tag cut out with scissors, although they did put an "XL" sticker on the outside of the helmet. I suppose this is supposed to fool me.I have owned several models of this helmet, so I know what an XL feels like. By the way, the fact that it is supposed to be "carbon fiber" is also questionable. It is the same weight, if not heavier, than other Bullitts.The graphics are just cheesy stickers on a plastic helmet. The helmet is ok as a back-up if you can find a reputable dealer, or just buy a Torc for half the price and better quality.

Nice helmet with a ridiculously high price. Very comfy and non confining for a full face.I removed the snap on cheek pads and made my own from 1/4 inch adhesive backed closed foam fir a custom fit.
