IGI 4625 Pillar Blend Wax 22.50 Pound Box

Summary: Excellent for silicone molds and wax tarts/wax melts. I needed something added to my coco and soy blended wax to harden it up. This definitely did it! PREP: Its hard! Some people slam the wax slab on the ground to break it up, and even chip away at it with a chisel. But I have found that a nice cleaver and rocking motion without much force does the trick. You only need to score it then use your cleaver using a rocking motion and light pressure going half way through. It will snap off. POUR: On othe sites, I see concerns with cloudiness and bubbles. Remeber you need to Pour at high temperatures! You will get beautiful glossy, bubble free candles or melts. Concerns: I really don't have any for my application, however it might be for you. There was light shrinkage around the edges. But this could be due to my personal blend as well, however I only encountered the shrinking when I blended this wax into my original recipe. SHIPPING: Fast and in a large flat rate box that was easy to manage! Definately recommended!
