There is absolutely nothing wrong with the collar itself. It appears well-made, is thick and the clasp is heavy duty. The REAL problem is the name tag that is a metal plate and affixed to the outside of the collar. IF I put the adjustment on one side of the plate, my dog is choking. If I slide it to the other side: she's GONE (it's too lose). There is no way to place the adjustment on the plate-- it just doesn't work. It's a gr8 IDEA, but very poor execution. The only way to do this would be to have the ability to put the plate in different places after adjustments were made. Don't waste your $$-- you will be disappointed: SORRY!

This is a great value - sturdy, well made, easy to see, night reflective...We have a Mini Dachshund and the next collar we get will probably less robust. It's just a little much on such a small dog. But he doesn't seem to mind it at all and never has. He has a very thick neck for his size, but if he was a regular shaped small dog I might not recommend this collar due to size only. For a medium/big dog this is a great purchase.

Overall it's a great collar. I use a harness for walks in general but have had to hook a leash up to the collar a few times and it seems to do the job, even with my 75+ lab puppy pulling on it. Only "negative" I'd give and why I gave it 4 stars is the metal name plate is very stiff and flat. In some ways that is good, means it's durable. But it prevents the collar from being a more form fitting and laying flat on my pups neck. It wasn't so bad that I felt I had to return it, but it's just something to note. If the metal had a slight curvature to it or was a tad more flexible (which could affect durability) it would be 5 stars!

I love this collar with personalized engraved stainless plate. I purchased 3 for my Aussiedoodles, and one was too large. The company is sending the correct size to me free of charge. I can’t speak highly enough of their customer service. They promptly answered my email and took care of my problem. The collar itself is well made, comfortable for the dogs to wear, and it is really nice looking. The reflective stitching is a nice touch, also. You won’t be disappointed with the purchase of this collar.

I was pleasantly surprised when my dog’s collars arrived today as I wasn’t expecting them to come so soon. I had measured their necks prior to ordering then added on an additional inch to allow enough room as I did not want their collars to be too tight. The measurements and suggestions posted in the reviews for the product were spot on! They both fit wonderfully and look so nice! The collars are very durable and well made. I love that I won’t have to worry about their tags falling off. Or worse — getting caught on things! As that can be incredibly dangerous and has happened before. 10/10 I will be ordering again!

It was defiantly better than I expectedIt is a thick collar, soft on inside and great quality for my dog. I have a bulldog and pitbull puppy and they were going through collars like crazy but this one has been awesome. Will defiantly order another one for my other dog. First, the positives. The nylon is durable and can handle any type of weather. It’s fine to get wet and dries quickly. Multiple layers of cushioning and and adjusting mechanism make for a nice comfortable fit. I also adore the nice bright pink color. The personalized plate turned out really well but was sewn onto the collar itself with some not so secure stitches. As a result, after about one week of normal neck scratching, my five month old, seven pound puppy scratched it right off the collar. If you are handy and have the means to attach the nameplate more securely to the collar then by all means this is a great buy for the money. But if you want the plate to stay put without doing any work on it then search for another collar.

First off, I love the fact that the tag doesn’t dangle, jingle, and it doesn’t wrap around the collar where it can cause discomfort against the dog’s neck. That said, it didn’t last long so I can’t say it was worth it.Issue #1) When it was brand new the tag was easiest to read, but it becomes less legible over time. The text is laser printed, lightly etched, not deep engraving. As the shiny tag gets scuffed up it becomes harder to read. It’s not a huge deal, but you do need to move it around to see it under different angles of light, because it’s illegible with a glare.Issue #2) After 3 months the tag broke off. The fabric strip that the tag is attached to unraveled and came apart. The fabric is a fairly thin black elastic clothing material. I continued to use it without a tag as a regular collar.Issue #3) The plastic buckle clasp broke apart and it became garbage after 6 months.I cannot recommend this collar to anyone. I went back to using a regular dog collar and I’ve ordered a separate tag that fastens flat onto the collar (similar to the tag on this product). However, after owning this I’ve decided to get a tag that has engraved text, rather laser etched, so that it is easier to read. Also, the tag I’m getting is riveted onto the collar, rather than attached to a strip of fabric.

These collars are excellent quality and look really smart.We have 3 dogs and they all look rather "cool" in their new collars.We don't have to worry about any tags falling off or catching on anything.Although our boys are chipped the contact details are easily visible should any of the boys get out or pull off their leads. We now have their names and contact details clearly visible on each collar.Excellent value, definitely one to purchase.

A good sturdy collar. The information on the collar is good as is the reflection.My only criticism is that I measured my dogs neck and ordered according to the size and it has come up abit big. I should have ordered a smaller size. Very happy I shan’t have to buy anymore name tags! It is a very chunky collar and good solid clasp to attach the lead to.

This is a great product. Our puppy is on his second collar. Only because he grew out of the first. So comfortable, easy to wear, lightweight and functional. Everyone asked where did you get his collar? The nameplate is great and didn’t scratch or rust. Keeping us all legal with his name address and a phone number nice and easy. The company also gave us another collar when we miscalculated the size. Didn’t have to do this!!! They are amazing and we will always use them for our dog’s collar’s. Well done to them for fantastic customer service. 🐾🐾🦮

Bought 1 of these then ordered another 3. Great idea although I found 1 of them seemed a little larger than requested and I did need to put it at the minimum length.Love the design otherwise and it seems sturdy but only time will tell on its durability. The dogs only wear collars when out and are known to lose tags on a regular basis plus are in water or mud on just about every occasion so it will ve jnteresting to see how long they last. Saying that it can cost as much to have a disc made as it is to buy these collars.

I got this collar for my beagle who is always losing his id tags because he likes to roll and they fall off. This is the perfect solution as the name plate looks very sturdy and won't fall off and get lost in the sand on the beach. The letters are nice and big so they will be easy to read. The collar seems very strong but is padded for comfort and he seems very happy with it.I ordered the teal one which is actually more turquoise than teal and It matches his lead exactly so I'm very pleased.
