Rockridge Press Kid Chef Bakes: The Kids Cookbook for Aspiring Bakers

Although purchased from the UK site, this is an American book. So oven temparatures are given in Farenheit (most UK ovens use Centigrade) and measurements are given in cups or pounds/ounces, not in litres or kilograms/grams. Not really suitable for UK kids who have grown up with metric measurements. There is an appendix at the back giving conversions from standard US measurements, but how many kids want to keep referring to an appendix? Also, although there are plenty of recipes, and they are probably good, the majority don't have illustrations.

You should know that this book is totally AMERICAN!!!! All terms ingredients and measurements are American- not English. So disappointing and no warning on the web site!

Got this as a Christmas present for my 10-year old son and he loves it. The recipes are easy enough to teach him new tricks without being too complicated, we get to spend time together, and he gets to eat sweets - a win-win-win! Do beware that the recipes are done in American measurements.
