Can't go wrong with W&N products.
Not used as yet, however Winsor & Newton deserve a mention. I have been using their stuff for almost 50yrs. It's always does what is says, is reliable, so I know what to expect. Why would I change brands? Quite sure this won't let me down.

The pad was torn from the cardboard on arrival
The actual paper is very good but it arrived torn away from the cover.

Feels like normal quality paper
The media could not be loaded. Arrived fine, no damage even though it was enclosed in just a brown paper bag.Feels like normal quality paper, only one side is truly useable due to a protective layer on the reverse that prevents ink from passing through to the other pages (as per video).

It came with all the paper creased and not attached.
I'm not happy with the fact that this pad came with every single sheet creased and folded and the fact that none of the sheets were actually attached. I picked it up and all of the sheets fell out. I haven't even tested it as its hard to ignore the state that the paper is in.

Packed terribly ... Pages folded back
Disappointed with how this was received. Ordinarily this is a good brand and the paper suitable for markers. The pad does not have a stiff back board, like the Daler Rowney and the pages inside were folded in on themselves.Had to return and ordered the Daler Rowney A3 pad (much better quality and firm back board).

quality paper
Winsor & Newton Bleed proof Marker Paper Pad for Alcohol and Pigment Markers is a good quality paper which is perfect for those who like to use markers to produce their artwork, this is especially good for those who love cartoon drawing etc. This brand and quality of paper is a pleasure to draw on as it is smooth and the fact that nothing bleeds through to the other pages makes it perfect for your own style of artwork. I especially like it for using calligraphy pens etc and other strong coloured markers.Happy to recommend.

Fantastic paper for marker pens - especially comic book/manga art
Before this arrived, I was expecting really thick paper - the kind you might find in an artist's sketch pad. However, once it got here I was surprised at how thin the paper was. So much so, that I doubted it would truly stop marker pens running through it. However, after having tested it out using a range of pens for a good week now, it does, as it promises: resists pens bleeding through at all.The pad of paper contains 50 sheets that are bound by glue at the top. There is a thin cover to protect the front sheet and a cardboard back to stop it bending too much. As I said above, the paper is very thin, so you will want to be careful with how you store it and flip pages so not to bend them. The paper itself has a very slick feel to it, which is great for marker pens. They glide effortlessly across the paper, meaning you can write or draw easily. I wouldn't say the paper is 'glossy', but it's certainly bright and keeps the ink on top of the paper, so colours and lines look bright, bold, vibrant and sharp. This pad of paper will be great for Manga art or comic book art of any kind. I love that it's A3 as it means you can really go big with your drawings or, if you are using it to practice, you have plenty of space for multiple pieces.

Perfect for manga drawing
This is the perfect paper for alcohol pens. These blendable pens are what is often used for manga and anime drawing. This is what my daughter does a lot of and she really appreciates this paper. She has tried watercolor paper before but it just doesn’t create a sharp line. Most of the thicker paper won’t get that sharp line she needs for a really good anime drawing. I have given her expensive card in the past but this is much better. It’s very thin paper but does not bleed onto the next sheet underneath. It does bleed through to the other side of the sheet, but it is pretty robust in terms of stopping any bleed of the pens to the next sheet. That’s not really the massive plus that it should be for my daughter - she is very used to putting a second sheet underneath what she’s working on to protect the sheet and pad underneath. I’ve taught her well!Overall, this is great paper and I think that if you’re happy with the size and are using alcohol blendable marker pens then it’s a good purchase.
