Multimeter Test Leads Cat III 1000V 20A Replacement for Fluke Ideal Simpson

Works as they should.

Used on my fluke. Fits well. Good size. Holding up great. Use them all day everyday.

Replaced 22 year old Fluke brand leads with these. They work great! I hope they last at least half as long as the original.

I bought these to replace stock fluke voltmeter leads. They work well and are quality made but the weird angle of the plugs makes it a little harder to put the meter back in its case when they are plugged in, unlike the originals. These are more of a 45 degree angle rather than 90. 4 star due to the design. The metal tips of the probes could be slightly longer as well. Not easy to reach into electronic test points. But they do work with my fluke meter. Very cost efficient.

It fit my other meter that has a logic function, but not my Simpson 260 meter, but that's OK I needed leads for that one also. I will research again and see if I can find leads for the Simpson 260.

My Fluke OE test leads went resistive by about 20 Ohms, they were only 10 years old :-). After chasing ghost resistors I found the failure and bought these units. Hope they last another 10 years.

These are working great for me with my Klein multimeter. The probes are comfortable to hold and the cord length is just right to be able to reach what you need but not so long to be unwieldy. I'm not 100%, but they appear to be nickel-plated brass leads. This construction is pretty standard for things like stereo jacks and all kinds of plugs. Nickel plating is quite durable and won't corrode.

I acquired a Fluke meter from a technician who said the meter was reading erratic. I suspected faulty leads and bought these leads as a replacement. They have corrected the issue with the meter, I use it all the time now. The only recommendation I would make is when you get these leads scuff the tips with a fine sandpaper for better contact. I had inconsistent readings from them until I scuffed the metal tips.
