The Gift Set did not arrive as a set of 8 cups and saucers packed together in a single presentation box. Instead, 4 individually boxed sets of 2 cups and saucers (one of each size) had been put into a brown cardboard box. It wasn't what I expected, but obviously doesn't alter the standard of the cups and saucers.Three of the individual items had flaws in the glaze, where it had 'bobbled' rather than being smooth - not enough of a problem for me to pack the whole lot back up to return, but if I'd been buying in person I would have rejected them and looked for ones with a better finish. Having said that, the Gift Set represents good value compared to buying each pair of 2 cups individually.I like the design and weight of these cups and saucers a lot. Simple and stylish. Nice to be able to serve different types of coffee in matching cups. If buying a set of two extra cups for espresso only, I'd probably choose the 'Doppio' for the option of adding extra water or an extra shot - the 'Espresso' cups are (appropriately) very small.

The perfect size for an espresso from my Vertuo machine. Two cups and saucers come in a sturdy cardboard box which will be a delight for my local recycling team. Of course, I refuse to share because one espresso is never enough and I wish I had bought these chunky little darlings years ago. Don’t expect paper thin porcelain, they’re Dualit not Royal Doulton. I love them.

The cups were ‘chunkier’ than I expected. I like the style but being bone China I expected the cups to be thinner.

Love these little espresso cups..came nicely packaged and perfect for a Fathers Day gift. Well worth the money they are sturdy and perfect for the machine used to make espresso.
