Great replacement for Mark Levinson 8 ohm lexus systems
Fixed the crackling from the 20+ year old speakers on my 03 gx470 with Mark Levinson speakers. Not sure what the car sounded like OEM but I can say they sound amazing now.

Stellar Sound Upgrade for My 2012 Dodge Challenger with a Minor Fit Tweak
I installed the PowerBass OE-690D 6"x9" speakers in the front doors of my 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T, which came with the factory Boston Acoustics 6-speaker amplified system—and I’m thrilled with the results, despite a small modification needed for fitment. To get these speakers to fit properly, I had to cut the bellows out of the door speaker mounts in my Challenger. While this added a step to the installation, the process was still straightforward, and the factory wiring harness connected cleanly, making the rest of the install a breeze. Sound-wise, these speakers are a massive upgrade. The clarity, mid-bass punch, and overall richness blow the stock Boston Acoustics speakers out of the water. They handle the factory amp’s power effortlessly, delivering tighter lows and clearer mids without being harsh or muddy. Vocals are crystal clear, and I can now hear finer details in my music that were lost with the OEM setup. No rattles, no distortion—just clean, powerful output at both low and high volumes. They integrate seamlessly with the rest of the Boston Acoustics system, and I didn’t need to upgrade the amp or head unit to notice a significant improvement. If you’re looking to breathe new life into your factory system—especially in a Mopar vehicle with the Boston Acoustics setup—the PowerBass OE-690D speakers are a fantastic choice. Just be prepared for potential minor fitment tweaks, like cutting the bellows in the mounts. Highly recommended!

2014 370Z with Nav/Bose
Researched for weeks to find some 6"x9" For the 370Z finally found these and installed them in the 2ohm configuration to keep using the oem head unit and bose amp and they worked great! Didnt have to modify the area to make them fit they matched the bolt patteren. The only thing is you will need to either tap into the old speaker positive and negative its not plug and play in that aspect. Luckily im comfortable soldering things so I just cut the old connector off and soldered the wires together but there are many other methods of doing this if you don't want to go that route. Overall the sound is a lot better than the 2014 composite bose system ones to me at least. You need to make sure to set them up as 2ohms if running it like I am with the factory head unit and amp if not they will sound bad and you'll get less sound.

4.5 stars
These are great replacements for the average listener who does not feel like spending $150 on one speaker From Toyota. They sound good they feel like better quality of course it does not sound like the JBL speaker exactly but it does get the job done certain songs that the JBL used to hit these speakers hit differently with other songs which this was expected. They were my replacements for my 2012 Venza fully loaded with JBL

These throw Mark Levinson speakers underwater. It's incredible.
I purchased these speakers to replace the Mark Levinson 6x9 front door speakers because they were making a scratching in the voice coil. These PowerBass ones caught my eyes because they could be wired to 8 ohms to match the factory specs. I really can't fully explain in words on how surprised I was once I installed these and turned the radio back on. Not only do they sound absolutely amazing with punchy bass and clear tones, but they undoubtably sound better than the Mark Levinson speaker that was there when I was working. These by far surpassed my expectations and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace any factory speakers.

2018 tundra with JBL
Review from Japan. I installed this on a 2018 Tundra with the JBL system. I mounted it using about a 1-inch spacer on top of the factory plastic ring. Without the spacer, it interferes with the window glass. It produces tight, punchy bass. I am very satisfied.

May not be a direct physical fit to your vehicle; sound is adequate
Not a direct factory fit to a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 (front door speaker location). The factory Infinity 6x9 (front door speaker location) has a narrower frame, and the door opening is rolled to fit that Infinity frame. These are too large, physically, to fit in the opening, even though the screw holes line up well (but the factory screw heads are a bit too large for these speakers, and the screws provided with these speakers are a different pitch and slightly narrower than the factory speakers, but work OK anyway; they do provide new clips, but I didn't change them out). I used a ball-peen hammer to "reshape" the factory door locations, and still it wasn't quite enough, and the speakers sit spaced 1/4-1/2" out from the door frame (also, the hammering removed the factory paint, leaving the bare steel exposed; I could have covered that with something, but I didn't bother, since it's a 14-year-old truck). Sound quality is adequate, better than the 14-year-old, blown-out factory speakers for sure. Watch the wiring, too, to make sure it's tight to the speaker and the window won't clip it on the way down (broke one of the factory jacks off the plastic on my first install, but the wire to the voice coil itself was still intact, so I carefully maneuvered it out of the way of both the speaker and the lowering window).
