I bought this to add some flexibility to the camera arm that I use at my workbench for livestreams. It works wonderfully!The winged bolt that restricts the movement of the joint is simple. It does the job. I would only caution you againt over tightening since the bolt is pressing into a plastic collar to hold the ball joint still.It adds approximately an inch to whatever you're installing it onto, just a heads up.The cutout that allows the ball joint to rotate a full 90 degrees is really nice for when I need to flip the camera around to focus on me momentarily. Can't beat it for the price.

Honestly I didn't need two Universal 1/4" Swivel Mini Ball Head Screw Tripod Mount... not for my purposes. At the price if I were worried about durability on my once in a lifetime trip to the lion lairs of the Zambezi Escarpment I'd order up a dozen at the cheap price for the things. Really. For my purposes, my hand held cam stick thingy that expands into a tripod was just begging for the Universal 1/4" Swivel Mini Ball Head Screw Tripod Mount Twas was EXACTLY what I have been needing as the stick just mentioned doesn't swivel. (Does now hee hee!) I like these things a lot. You will too.

These mini ball heads were fairly sturdy at first, but not quite sturdy enough for long-term heavy use. Be careful when tightening the ball head—if you over-tighten, it could snap.After almost two years of use, the screw that secures the ball head has noticeably weakened, which I suppose is expected with frequent use over time. Overall, they work fine with light to moderate use, but I wouldn't rely on them for heavier setups.

Perfect! Added a camera to an existing light fixture outside but the camera was not able to be angled properly. This fixed my issue without having to change the entire fixture and is holding steady 6 months out. Great product!

Tripods typically do not allow for angles in cameras to be placed for a better shot. These universal swivels allow the camera to be tilted and it also allows for better shots they are universal item because almost all tripods have the same 1/4 inch connection as well as the camera. I used one to accommodate my Samsung 360 camera onto a cell phone holder and it worked beautifully as you can see in the picture above. Very cost-effective so I consider it a great value as I did not have to buy a giant tripod to be able to cam from bed. Simple to use and very versatile.

Right now I have only gotten into mobile photography (I hope to learn DSLR cameras in the future) so I bought this for a monopod so that it would work with my Iphone. I haven't used it much, but it seems to be good quality and a useful thing to have as an extra in my camera bag. I'd recommend.

Large knob doesn't affect ball tightness, just the small, 2mm hex net. That is counter-intuitive. Also, the ball movement is not smooth. It was very inexpensive and I suppose appropriately 'cheap'. Would not recommend.
