Robust and neat storage solution.
We bought this to store our recycling pending collection. It is capacious and does the job. (I don’t think the fox will get the food waste again.)Assembly.We had read some negative reviews and therefore checked everything very carefully before starting. Following the advice in a previous review I removed a few plastic tails and webs left from moulding which might have obstructed the click fits. The instructions are clear. Going very carefully it took me under an hour with the occasional extra hand from my husband. We are both in our 70s so the fact that the parts are light is an advantage. We can easily lift the box between us.We consider we got fair value for our money.

Great storage units
I bought two of these storage units, based on the reviews of this anthracite model and the other dark brown model. As far as I can tell, everything except the colour is identical. They were delivered very promptly, a day ahead of the promised schedule.PACKAGINGBefore buying them I had read many of the reviews including the 1* and 2* reviews - it's good to know what other customers really dislike about a product. Several people had mentioned the goods being damaged, broken, having parts missing etc and down-rated the storage bins as a result. I felt beforehand that this was unfair to judge a product on what was clearly a transport and logistics issue rather than design or manufacturing. However, having received mine I do believe the manufacturers are definitely at fault with the packaging. All that protects the plastic storage bin sections is a simple, relatively thin, cardboard box. It could really do with some moulded polysterene or other reinforcement at the corners to protect the edges. One of the two units I received had small bits of plastic snapped off. The box itself was still apparently intact, so no damage was obvious before unpacking, and the broken bits were still inside the box. Neither of the broken bits caused me problems - they didn't show on the outside of the finished unit, and they weren't essential to the construction. However I can now sympathise with those who have found problems with damage on receipt. All I can say is take great care when examining and signing for them.MATERIALMy first reaction on unpacking the side panels etc. was "Wow, this is incredibly flimsy!". Each side panel was able to flex and bend quite freely under its own weight and certainly didn't give the impression of sturdiness. However I know how much strength and reinforcement boxes, containers etc. can gain by the sides being braced against one another, so I was prepared to carry on. If you get one of these units and think the same as I did, don't let this initial feeling put you off.Later, while assembling the second of the two units I realised the plastic is also quite soft. I laid the lid of the one I was constructing on top of the lid of the one I'd already completed. This was while I put a couple of screws in to it. However afterwards I realised that even this slight friction between them had been enough to leave scuff marks on both. The lesson here is 'take care'.CONSTRUCTIONThis part was very satisfying. All the panels fitted well together, and slotted in to place with very reassuring strong 'click's. The only tool that is needed, and illustrated in the instructions, is a Phillips screwdriver for the various metal elements - hinges, padlock loops etc. The one extra tool I used, which isn't essential, was a small rubber-headed mallet. This made snapping the several tabs along the edges into place a really easy task. If you've got one, dig it out. If not, don't worry, you can do it all by hand. Some of the plastic edges had quite a bit of flash on them, but this didn't interfere with fitting or construction at all, and the exterior finish was excellent. As I suspected earlier, the flimsiness disappeared as more panels were joined together and the finished unit, while still relatively light, also seems rugged and strong.OVERALLI've already filled them with everything I'd planned, and they swallowed it easily. I guess the only unknown yet is weather resistance, but this seems to have been a strongly recommended part of other reviews, so I'm not anticipating any problems. My rating is 4*, mainly because of the damage which I believe Keter could fix by redesigning their packaging. On that basis alone I would probably have given them 3* or less. I got off lightly in this respect, but I can understand those who were less lucky. All other aspects of the units have been very pleasing, so on balance I think a 4* is fair.

Excellent storage unit
Arrived on time. Easy to assemble. One man, 30 minutes. Couple of tools. Discrete for its size. Great capacity. So far weatherproof. Lockable. Good colour. Can be used as a bench seat.My one gripe was that a week after buying the price dropped considerably but upon approaching the seller they refunded the difference for which I thank them as it was an act of courtesy I wasn't expecting. These units aren't cheap for what they are even when they are at the bottom end but the extra storage has been invaluable. The lid can be caught be gusts of wind and open so locking it or putting something on top may be advisable.Other than that, great item.

Very poor quality
I had very high expectations of this unit in light that it cost £200. Truthfully it is cheap poorly made plastic where the edges unfinished it has scratches all over it too many to photograph and gaps in the joints where it will quite lightly get slugs all over the contents in light that it’s a garden storage box with gaps. Sadly I would not recommend it at all. I am very disappointed.

Huge attractive Storage box
This arrived well packaged, the assembly instructions a fairly clear. My daughter and I put it together without much difficulty but it does require a bit of strength to push the joins together. If its a one woman job a rubber mallet would be helpful but not essential. Very light to move around with one person when empty. There are no separate feet but I will not be moving it around apart from putting under cover during the winter. This is a great addition to our patio to store sofa cushions, relaxer chair and cushion storage box of barbecue accessories and lid and grate of a fire pit and there is a little bit more room. Was unable to fit the large foot rest cushion of the sofa set, but then the next size up would not fit under the window. It also sits two people with refreshments very comfortably without giving, and probably three small ones, the lid is not supported inside so I guess that's why they recommend two. Will be buying a cushion cover to make it a little bit more attractive to sit on. washes or brushes down well and is waterproof. I've know friends who had other storage of this make which have lasted for years outside so I was impressed by the quality.

Brilliant
We were rather nervous after reading all the reviews, but already having one decided to go ahead. Just constructed the box in about 15 minutes, per the instruction book and everything went as it should. No parts missing. Highly delighted. Just one gripe and it is not about the box, it is the dumb carriers they use. We have a garage in a small village and they said they could not find us, hence this was delivered four days late. Just rubbish everyone in the village knows where we are and we are not hard to find, if you have a sat nav you do not need to ask. They shoud have a telephone number too.

Tolle Box
