I’ve installed these cameras quite a bit and have had them running for about 1 year without a failure/issue; HD-over coax is a near bulletproof system and as long as things work initially they tend to keep working baring buying out a camera. I’m in NY so these have seen warm/hot summer days and cold winter says as well as daily above and below freezing temps with moisture; these cameras haven’t had issues.I will say to make sure you test them before install and make sure your system is either multi-mode or TVI as these cameras are exclusively TVI; I like the single mode over the multi-mode cameras as they don’t switch and just seem to work, whereas multi-mode need to be set and can get changed while in-service and depending on location can be a pain to reset.I think most people’s issues are compatibility with their DVRs, especially older or single mode DVRs; not all cameras are plug and play. That said I do run a test on all cameras before I install them using a multi-mode BNC to HDMI module which identifies the camera mode and resolution along with showing the picture, these are TVI and 1080.I like that these are relatively cheap though when you have to buy 10 they can seem pricy but not compared to some name brand or even POE cams at 1080.I run these with bulans over Cat-5e with a wired pair to each +/- which allows me to either run power over the same Cat-5e or run 2 cameras on said Cat-5e; I also run the 4 channel baluns over Cat-5e which uses a single rise per +/- channel and have managed to. It have video signal issues through 150’ of wire. I’m not a big fan of the duplex video/power wire as they aren’t future proffers whereas running Cat-5e allows for easy, easy enough, upgrading to POE if you want.These have good video and great night performance compared to some older 720 cameras I’ve used and holds up to POE 1080s. I usually install 5MP systems but 5MP is a bit much for some areas so having a cheaper option is niceDo wish they offered bulk buy options/discounts but somehow buying 4 cameras is more expensive than buying 4 singles; I just don’t understand pricing sometimes.

I managed to fix the problem, I replace the hard drive and everything was working and then I noticed it kept rebooting on the third day I knew that hard drive wasn't bad so I took a look at the wires and I was using old wire from an old camera that was sending power back to the box I replaced that wire and everything's all good. If you buy the system use all the wires and equipment they give you don't try to use anything you already have it will send voltage back to the box, use the wires and cameras they supply you and everything will work good. Once you start up the box it says to enter a password there is no password just hit login.

The cameras are working great and came at a reasonable price.

I was using this for security. It comes w/a 5 page "quick start guide" no support beyond that. Also 1 camera doesnt work, also the hard drive recorder is "flukey", tgey say the orig. Password is admin, i put thevpassword in as 1 of the FIVE pages tells me. "Wrong password" thus not only am I having severe problems, the hard drive seems to be "used". Amazon was alliwing me to switch the camera, sending the 1 in for a refund, purchasing the next, then the hard drive issue, to which they say they cannot switch hard drives, that i need to send the entire system back, to which I have already paid to have installed. The kicker, AMAZON got on the phone upping me to a suporvisor, the suporvisor stated i should have contacted them within the 30 days?! (I contacted them numerous times. To no avail) went on to say there is nothing i can do, extremely snarky and as for support the same, i should have contacted them within the 30 days? To which again i did. Refusing to swap harddrives(to which they sell singally. Then git really nasty when i attempted to reitterate IVE BEEN CALLING? THE SUPORVISOR STATED "I CANNOT HELP YOU, YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED WITHIN THE 30 DAYS AND HUNG UP ON ME!!! HOWEVER WHILE HANGING UP ON ME "BYE FOR NOW" i guess there supposed to say it....👉 the kicker👈 I PURCHASED THE 3 YEAR EXTENDED WARRENTY, AND TECH SUPPORT!! I AM BLOWN BY AMAZON'S UNCHARISTIC ATTITUDE, ESPECIALLY PAYING FOR 3 YEAR PRODUCT WARRENTY AND TECH SUPPORT. I Called back reminded them of this....to date no resolution, no harddrive, no tech support (their supposed to be calling within 48 hours, they have a few left?? Horrible horrible experiance. Also i purchased extra wire. It was kinda rotten??!!I even purchased the 3 year protection plan/tech support, to which

Perfect size, quality is really good, i like it, highly recommended.

The images on these cameras are fairly low quality and slightly distorted. Had a night owl system prior to this one and the night owl had better visual quality for lower cost than I paid for this system. If I had to do over , I would definitely have done more research
