StatGear SuperVizor XT Auto Escape Tool, Black with sunvisor Holder…

This should be a must have vehicle accessory for everyone. It's one of those things you hope you never have to use but it is there if you need it. Fits the sunvisor of a 2015 WRX and a 2015 Tacoma perfectly. Elastic holds tight and once it is installed you hardly even notice it is there (I went with the black handle). The handle may be a little small for someone with giant hands but then again you don't have to put your fingers through the loop to use it. The seat belt cutter is extremely sharp on both, you could almost shave with it so I doubt it would have any trouble cutting a seat belt. Good quality, great purchase. Highly recommend!

One of those things you buy and hope you never have to use. This is a well built, and nicely designed emergency escape tool, which I have placed in all my cars and plan on buying more as gifts for family and friends. Easy to install, and not obtrusive like other emergency tools on the market. Very pleased and like I said, hopefully I will never have to use it.Oh in regards to some of the 2 star ratings and negative feedback, this tool is not intended for diving, nor is it advertised for such. As a diver you should know, there's over 150 grades of stainless steel. Gear that will be exposed to extreme (salt) water generally use the most corrosion resistant version (very high chromium content) of stainless steel. Due to the nature of this tool and its intended use, it wouldn't make economical sense to use such a high grade and costly version of stainless steel. If they did, I'm almost certain they could not be able to offer it as such an affordable price. So if you used this tool underwater, specially in salt water and it rusted, it's not the manufacturers or items fault, but your own for assuming you could.This device is also not intended to cut glass, but aid in breaking it. Cutting glass vs breaking it requires two different approaches and the material used to do so is also quite different. If you want to cut glass, buy a glass cutter.If you use this device for cutting other material, such as wires, cables, ties, etc, you can and will most likely damage the blade portion of the tool. Once again, this is not intended for such use, so if you use it for anything other than what it is being advertised for, don't be shocked if you ruin the tool.It's some what comical how many of the negative or 1 star reviews are all from those who used this tool in a manor it was not intended to be. Then as if they have been duped, leave an unjust review. This is a tool that essentially should only be used in an emergency. It has two very specific purposes, and using it in an environment or manor it was not designed to be, can damage and or make this device ineffective.

I bought this for my truck visor and the blade on the one I ordered is sharp. I tend to test cutting braided fishing line on anything with an edge since dull knives will have a hard time making a clean cut, this one did not. It feels good on the hand and trust it’ll break glass if I ever need to however the band on it could be a little longer to fit bigger visors and also a little thicker but those are just minor things that I personally would like upgraded. I recommend this escape tool as it does not take up a lot of room and will be in hands reach if ever needed.

Fit well on our new car visor. Seems solid and is easy to remove from the pouch. Haven’t needed to use it yet so I’m not sure how hard it would be to use. 😉

This tool exceeded my expectations. It is compact and sharp! It is comfortable to use and comes in a gorgeous little holster that velcros to lock the tool in place. At first, the loop seemed way too big for my belt, then I pushed the loop through the ring and it cinched snuggly to my belt after that! This is the highest quality seatbelt cutter bar none.

A little over a year ago i was in a rollover accident in my truck. Luckily in that instance i was able to click my belt off however my truck was smoking and the whole ordeal was eye opening.After i saw this i knew i had to have it. In my accident everything in the center console went flying and some stuff was on the opposite side of the road. More than likely youre not gonna be able to reach into your glovebox. (Assuming that doesnt go airborne aswell). A visor strap is so simple but so effective and i can honestly say i feel safer with this in my new truck.But.....a concern i had regarding this is the police. If you get pulled over all a cop might see is this guy has a blade right over his head semi-concealed. In my truck i have rain guards on the windows and a curved frame so it stays out of sight unless you know to look for it but it’s something to consider. I dont know any legal anything not gonna pretend i do. Just keep that in mind

This was a product that I bought for just in case like I assume everyone does. I bought two of these for my wife and myself and my wife actually had to use it.There was an accident that she witnessed where a lady hit a fence and ended up being trapped, people rushed over to try and help her get out hitting the window with anything they could get their hands on but nothing worked. My wife remembered she had this in her car and rushed to grab it and it was able to break the driver side window open and helped free the lady and her child in the back seat.Like I said you never know when you'll need something. It's better to have it and never use it, than to need it and not have it.

Digging through amazons many tools for automotive escape I quickly learned that most are either flimsy, over priced or will be a deadly flying object during and accident. This tool was exactly the opposite of the others. Its the most reasonable price, it is very sturdy (and sharp) plus its very secure in a convenient spot. Not sure why certain reviewers are struggling to mount it, fit perfectly in my mid sized suv.Videos of this tool show its sharp enough to instantly cut a belt or smash a windown.

Sharp. Used at work as an EMT on the ambulance. Slices through seatbelts and clothes.

Wife purchased two of these for our vehicles, we havn't had to use them for intended use. But overall seem to be a great product, great quality. Comes with a band to attach it to your sun visor in the vehicle. God forbid your ever in a situation where youll need this product. But if you are, your gunna be glad you have this to rip your seat belt, or smash your window with ease.

Great product for firefighter within a week of having this had to use it to cut a patient out of a car and cut some clothing worked amazing

S'est adapté à mes pare-soleils. Cependant, même au plus petit ajustement, il y a un peu de loose. Je n'ai aucune crainte de le perdre en cas d'accidents mais au quotidien ça oscille pendant la conduite parce que ce n'est pas assez serré.
