Budget cpu cooler that does the Job very well. More than i expected. Got a 10 degree drop on my cpu temps moving from a stock cooler. No, i have not overclocked. PROs cools more than expected. Additional fittings provided. Can add a fan if needed. Very well packed. Quiter than my stock cooler.Cons Brights spots from the 4 corners leds of the fans.

very good cooler for affordable price. Only negative point, pre-applied thermal pad is not sufficient; its better to remove it and apply a good thermal paste. After that, it keeps my CPU almost 10C lower than the Intel box cooler.

Beautiful and effective cpu cooler. Definitely buy this for white-themed builds and is a big upgrade from stock coolers. I wouldn’t get this for anything above an i5-Ryzen 7 though

The cold Plat is not grounded flat. It has ridges and grooves. A heat sink should have a flat cold Plat to interface properly to the cpus.

Absolutely not for AM4, i repeat NOT for AM4. I can confirm what I read in another review, and I am sorry that I did not follow the advice. To be fair the box and the actually spec on the page do not mention AM4 it is the headline that obviously just mentions it in error.The amount of force, and special tools that I had to use to fit this to a Ryzen 5 on an MSI board made me extremely uncomfortable, and if it were not for a rush build I would not have continued. The cooler performs as good or maybe slightly worse than the stock Wraith cooler - but that could be because it has been compromised by the force used to install it, so I can't make a fair comment about its performance.

For those people stating this does not contain the AM4 bracket, you are wrong! Maybe you just don't know how to fit it? I have attached the fan to the motherboard along with the CPU and installed this on a friend's AMD Ryzen system to test as I will be getting an Alderlake CPU soon. This does not come with that bracket but Deepcool will send you one out for free on proof of a Alderlake CPU or Motherboard purchase. I think this is an excellent value CPU Cooler for the price, to everyone stating this is junk please show me something better around this cost?

I just made my first gaming pc at the grand old age of 53, I have 0 DIY skills so my wife was somewhat skeptical.I used the stock ryzen 5 3600 cooler but it was not great so I took a punt on this there's a great installation video on this on youtube. Just watch this and dam I installed it and it has a blue led on it as well and very quiet, I was so impressed with myself I rang everyone I know to tell them and sent them pictures. All of them so unimpressed by my skills but as I don't care what anyone thinks I now will only be known as the king of pc builder

I just bought a really old Phenom II X4 for an old upgrade on an AMS3 board. The current fan was pretty small, being stock with the Athlon II that I had already. After replacing the CPU and using the original fan I was seeing temps up to 85C - not at all ideal.I ordered this heatsink and fan based on other reviews but forgot one small detail - it's MASSIVE compared to really old fans and heatsinks (remember when CPUs didn't even HAVE fans? Anyway...)Operating temp went from a max of 91C to around 40C under load.The fan is whisper quiet and really well put together, installation was a doddle and it already comes with thermal paste on the base so you don't need any.Already very very pleased with this purchase, well worth the money - just make sure you measure your case! It stands about 26cm off the motherboard which equates to about 29cm off the baseplate of my case, the funnel of the fan JUST fits beneath the case panel when replaced - but I think I was lucky.

I specifically bought this to use with my AM4 Ryzen processor, as it stated in the description that this was AM4 compatible. What lies!! I literally had to bend the metal and loosen the retaining brackets on the motherboard (which took alot of effort and tim to achieve) to allow it to get anywhere near fitting. I looked on the box and it does not specifically state that this is for an AM4 processor, it lists all other processors that are compatible but not the AM4 which has led me to believe that i have been sent out old stock from before AM4's were about. Very annoyed . If you are buying this for an AM4 like i did, DONT. I should of trusted my instincts and gone for a more established reliable brand
