Third time lucky (and so far, so good...)
This was my third router in a matter of weeks while trying to escape ADSL for a 4G broadband service. (Rural copper network, rain, outages. You know the story.) I'd never heard of Wirelessys before I gave up on cheaper models and did a search for one with WPA3. It's made in Taiwan, and as every other Taiwanese product I've bought from fountain pens to tea has been excellent, I thought it was worth a shot.I wasn't disappointed. Installation was straightforward. You can use the set‑up wizard if you want an easy life, and you'll be online in minutes. Or you can tinker with just about every setting if you know what you're doing. I thought I did, but I learned a few lessons in the process and made quite a bit of use of the re‑set button. But even with all my messing around, I was still up and running securely to my satisfaction within an hour. (For those worried about compatibility with UK networks, I had no problems with a Smarty SIM.)Pros:1. Clean, understated design.2. Easy to mount on a wall (I used removable picture strips rather than the screw mounting kit provided) but it doesn't take up much space on a shelf either.3. Nice clear configuration menu.4. Easy intuitive set‑up. It's a bit slow saving changes (change the SSID, password, and system log‑in details, as the user guide advises) but that's not something you're going to be doing frequently, so no problem.5. The SIM slot works properly. The card pops in with just finger pressure, unlike the shoddy slots in other routers I've tried where I've had to use a pen cap to push the card home until it clicks.6. Good build quality. Everything fits together neatly and securely.7. Fast boot‑up and good download speeds. (Much faster than my previous router.)8. It silenced the nagging from my iPhone and iPad about "weak security." (WPA2) Small point, but just the disappearance of that constant warning cheered me up no end.9. Made in Taiwan.Cons:1. White router, black power adapter –– and with a relatively short cable. It's purely cosmetic, but I'm now looking for white adapters and/ or extension cables because I've mounted it on a plain, light‑coloured wall and the black cable spoils the effect. But that's a petty gripe for such a great device. What I didn't check out:1. The mesh set‑up. I didn't need it, but it looks equally easy.2. The Ethernet connection. I'll get around to it.Anyway, I'm now finally free of the landline that left me without a service for days at a time. Thank you, Taiwan!

Could Not Connect to AT&T Prepaid
Returned because I could not get the unit to register on AT&T's Prepaid service. It did connect properly to the AT&T LTE 4G network with a stronger signal than my phone, but could not connect to my Prepaid account even after contacting AT&T support to register IMEI. Also, requires a sim card adapter for the AT&T sim card from my previous device (ZTE hotspot)

Power won't stay on and wifi last about 5 hours then needs to be rebooted
The power keeps dropping and when it does stay on the wifi will work for several hours then shuts off and the router has to be rebooted.Fought it for 2 days and said the heck with it and will go with something else that hopefully will work better than this POC
