Does the job as expected
Works as intended. Powers my Raspberry Pi 5 and ethernet cable works too. No complaints. Just make sure to enable PoE pass through on your switch if applicable if it doesn't turn on automatically

Works as described for a Raspberry PI 4
2 items were brought to power 2xRaspberry PI4 units, from our main switch. The switch reports the devices as IEEE class 0 (which had me confused as everything else is 3 / 4 - on googling it's reporting a valid POE class). These devices go up to 2.4A, the PI4 direct power supplies were 3.0A. However on updating and loading the PI4 units processors to 100% the power supply appears to be holding steady. The link speed is still holding at 1GBs just like before with no dropped packet's noticed. Should something change during initial use, I'll post an update, but initial impressions for the unit are extremely positive. I would purchase again based on initial testing and use over the last few hours.

Powers Raspberry Pi 4 with GbE speeds
I purchased this as an easy and simple way to power my Raspberry Pi 4 which runs Home Assistant. It is powered by a UniFi PoE port, drawing around 4W. I've been running this now for a few weeks and it has been very reliable. I've not run a speed test, but I can see the port has sync'd at Gigabit Ethernet speeds. This is so easy to use, you simply plug into the ethernet port of the Pi, and the USB-C power port of the Pi- and then attach your ethernet cable. It springs into life without any trouble. Very very simple.

My go-to solution for powering smart home hubs via PoE
I've ordered quite a few of these over the past couple of years and use them around my home network to power smart home hubs via PoE. They're particularly useful when I want to locate a hub somewhere that already has Ethernet available but where I don't necessarily want another mains adapter and power socket. I can run both the network connection and power over the existing Ethernet cable, then use one of these at the device end to provide the USB-C power connection. So far they've proved very reliable. I've installed several of them and haven't had any problems, which is why I keep coming back and ordering more whenever I add another suitable device to the network. They're small enough to tuck neatly out of the way, which is particularly useful in my network rack and around smart home equipment where I'm trying to keep the amount of cabling and power adapters under control. The fact that I've bought multiple units over several years probably says more than anything else. They do exactly what I need, they've been reliable, and they've become my go-to PoE splitter for this type of installation. Great value for money and highly recommended.

Not gigabit.
Only 4 wires out of 8 connected, no way this can do 1000base-t

Works great with hue bridge pro
Bought to use with a hue bridge pro so I didn’t have to plug another bulky power supply into my power distribution unit.
