I just renovated my fireplace, andbthe mantel was missing to complete the new look. The mantel was hard to install over stones, but we did it with some creativity and effort. I love the color andbthe distressed hardwood lock. However, it's a little heavy, and we had to place extra and longer screws to secure it. I placed the before and after photo.

Ok, I rarely write reviews but I loved this mantle so much I had to. I ordered this for a gas fireplace in our new home. It arrived very well packed. It was heaver than I expected, and this was good. Most of the mantels I looked at had metal post type hangers and/or required some type of drilling. This product comes with a French cleat hanging system. The pre-drilled holes in the hanging bar matched our studs perfectly. It took all of 15 minutes to install. There is absolutely no wobble or sag in the shelf. It has a secure and flush fit to the wall. while it is hollow, once it is hung, it is impossible to tell. As you can see in the photos, it looks very solid and as if it were built into the house. I can absolutely recommend this mantel!

If you want an affordable way to have that lodge look for your fireplace, you have found that product. This is beautiful for the price. Super easy to install. I am extremely pleased with this and it exceeded my expectations.

Ordered the mantel. When I got it, it looks plastic and cheap. Nothing like what the pictures show. I opted to return the item and did so via Amazon. Amazon granted me a return, but the postage was not included. When I bought it, it said free returns. I called Unbeatable Sales Inc and they wouldn’t honor free returns because it was outside the 30 return policy. I got the email for the return about 25 days after purchase. Buyer be warned

This looks like real wood and is absolutely beautiful. I haven’t installed it yet but it looks extremely heavy how realistic it is but doesn’t weigh very much.

Quality of the Item is not as described. My item showed up scratched like this, and the company will not refund the entire amount or give a fair discount. They make you pay for the shipping, plus a restock fee. Buyer beware with this item. It’s not worth it.
