These Cross gel refills (#8523) have been excellent in my Cross Townsend silver pen. They write smoothly and consistently, with no skipping or hesitation, and the ink flow is exactly what a premium pen should deliver. Confusing numbers
I have a classic Cross slim pen, and I didn't know that there were dozens of different types. I got the correct one by ordering on the number printed on the old refill, and that wasn't even the same part number. Really? My Parker has 1 style. As far as function and such, this refill works just fine.
