So far these have been absolutely game changing. Not only do they fade well, unaltered just as they are, but they get closer than most and you can hear every hair being cut they are so sharp. Its really satisfying. Definitely worth the price!

I have been a barber for 30 years. I try to stay with the times and have switched over to all cordless. One of the probloms is the wahls cordless and andis master cordless are rotary clippers instaed of magnetic like the corded.I expect to have a clipper thats cordless for the money i pay to be just as good as the corded one. Wahls cordless with the crunch blade are the best but run time sucks. Andis master cordless are way too loud, run time sucks and spm of 700 compared to the corded 1400. And thats the diffrence when fading. Witha clipper thats hight spm the haircut will be more smother.Caliber has created a cordless magnetic motor with 10000 spm and can last all day and then some before dying. To make this clipper perfect just add a wahl cruch blade, it fits right in the blade and cutting comb. This is what every barber should have in my opinion and makes a great clipper. The down side is that just like corded magnetic clippers you must oil the blades frequently and not great at cutting bulk. I use my wahl magic cordless to cut the bulk , and leave the fading to the caliber 50.

The one thing that I like about this clipper is the fact that its very quite and it takes off the fine lines that a Wahl senors makes when it's zeroed gapped .what I don't like, is that it bogs down when you try to cut a bunch of thick hair.the battery life is fair but the motor doesn't allow you figure out when its dying out.other than that it has a good grip and a good sleekness about the body of the clipper.other than that it's a good clipper.im Chewy_da_barber860 Instagram

I have been a professional barber for a few years. I have a full book and do 20 haircuts a day. I honestly had been looking for an alternative clipper to fade with. I used to use a cordless Wahl Senior but I just wasn’t happy with its performance. It was heavy and loud. I had tried to modify it to help with my dislikes but it never fully fixed my issues with that clipper. Another barber suggested I try the 50 Cal. I realized I would have to change my usual technique a little since the 50 cal doesn’t have as strong of a motor as the Senior. I used my Wahl for clipper over comb but with the 50 cal having a less powerful motor I decided to start using my detachable clipper for clipper over comb. Now I use the 50 cal strictly for fading which it is amazing for. No adjustments out of the box except I took the little ball out of the adjustment lever so it doesn’t click into each level. This thing is super quiet. Like crazy quiet. No more trouble having a conversation with clients. It also cuts super close which means when doing skin fades the transition from foil shaver to stubble is easy to blend. Over all this clipper is definitely worth the money. It’s far cheaper then the Wahl but honestly it works way better especially right out of the box.

Had these for about 2 years. Best clippers I've ever bought. Better than any Wahl or Remington. I use these to trim my beard and shave my head and nothing stops these blades from cutting. I oil the blades every now and then but they've never stopped working on me and I have very thick hair. I'd buy these again but I trust they'll hold up for a very long time. Get these clippers!!

I ordered a black clipper and they sent me a gold one with missing pieces and the head is on uneven.

I am a hairy, bald guy and I've had to groom regularly for 20+ years. I wish I had found these clippers sooner. They're super quiet and provide a very close shave. I use them on my entire body: head, chest, back (with help) and groin. The naked blade provides a close enough shave for my preferences.
