This order was for my second one of these hats. They are simply one of the best outdoor hats on the market. They're practically indestructible, they handle sweat well and they look good doing it. They provide good sun protection and the vented top is a great design. I usually wear a 7-3/8 long oval hat; my first Tilley was a 7-1/2 and it fit snugly (I still wear it); I ordered a 7-5/8 this time and it fits a little looser--very comfortable. The straps can cinch it down in a stiff breeze.

This hat is great; it provides nice protection from the sun and the airflo feature keeps me from getting overheated. The fact that it’s mostly cotton is a big plus for me too, as I like wearing natural fibers when possible. I’d highly recommend this hat - it’s worth the money. Just be forewarned - the size runs small. I wear a 7 1/4 hat, but I got this Tilley in the 7 5/8 and it fits comfortably.

I like the hat overall. It is well made and fits well. I won't be using it for several months due to weather but I expect the vent to be of great benefit when it is hot. The primary reason I purchased is the size of the brim was smaller than others I could find. However, the cost is about double. Knowing this now I would not spend this much for this hat over the others. Here are some others to consider: Dorman 3" brim Vented crown, Barmah Foldaway canvas DROVER full vent crown, Henscher BREEZER 3" Brim

Size is correct . comfortable.

My dad has had one of these for 20 years, I was going on a cruise and wanted something cool but protective the Tilley worked great. Comfortable for all day wear, stays on your head when it is windy, hopefully lasts as long as my dad's.

Great hat. It is my husband's second Tilley hat. He loves them! I went on Tilley's own web-site to determine the size with a measuring tape. And the size was exactly as measured. Look for their measurement chart, then measure around the head /lower forehead, and get the hat size equivalent to the inches.

Trotz dessen, dass ich mich ein wenig vermessen (61cm) habe, fällt der gelieferte Hut etwas größer aus, so das ich ihn behalten werde, weil er passt und er sehr gut verarbeitet wurde. Würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen

This is a nice hat, fits well just what I wanted and as advertised.

I bought the hat for my husband and he is very pleased with it. He is at the point where he needs to wear a hat whenever he is out in sunshine, not just during the summer. The hat fits well , is comfortable and gives SPF50 protection. He has sun damage to his forehead so good protection is essential It is an all year round hat and is washable.

This hat protects me from sun and cool winds. It is easy to clean. Very well made.
