We are Canada's Boot maker. It's been that way since 1910. Deeply ingrained in our approach is the knowledge that where we put effort, we find pride, sweat, hard work, good planning, smart thinking, determination to overcome - we celebrate these moments of progress. They can be simple everyday moments - or steps toward collective accomplishments. In this spirit, Kodiak makes boots for the men and women who push forth. Who beat a path to their workshops, worksites and factories everyday - no matter what. The ones who keep going because the desire to see what's down the path or around the corner pulls them ahead. Those who dig in, reach out and find a way to move forward. Because progress matters more than achievement. And progress only happens when we're in it together.

Comfortable
I use these every day for work and they are comfortable, good quality and easy to put on.

Tight fit at first
I ordered a half size up just by reading the reviews. I wear a size 9, but got a 9.5. I like wearing thick socks in the winter to help keep my feet warm and the boot was tight around my feet not too long and I got use to it. Now I can't tell. I bought these boots because I needed waterproof boots and I didn't want to have to keep tying my shoes. These are composite toe boots. At times I order composite boots and they set off the metal detector because they are not composite toe. I actually really like them!

Clunky and blistering!
I wore these one night to work hoping to break them in and could barely walk in them by the end or my shift as a server. I had massive blisters. The boots fit looser than expected and they were very heavy and clunky. I have another pair of lace ups by kodiak that have been the best pair of boots I’ve ever owned. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement!

Full Size Too Big, otherwise good
I have worn Blundstones for years and really like them but their safety toe models are...not cute. I liked that these are traditional in look and material. I always wear a women’s 9 in boots so I ordered those, found them huge, ordered and 8.5, still too big, and discovered that an 8 in these fits like a 9 in most other boots. These are not wide. I have wide feet and could use a bit more room but these are a medium width and the leather will stretch around the balls of my feet.Work boots are expensive, and I found these to be very high quality, moderately comfortable, and attractive enough that I don’t mind wearing them 5 days a week.Sizing was the major issue.

Love these!
Love these! OSHA compliant boots that are cute and comfortable. Just need to get used to the extra weight/height in the boot and adjust to driving with them on. Perfect for a gal operating in the field and transitioning to the office! Fits true to size. 10/10 recommend!

Too tight
I liked how it felt in the toe box, secure. But it was difficult pulling them on and once on the heel was grabbing my heel but when I walked my heel went up and down which would have caused major blisters. I usually wear a 6.5 in everything and I’m tired of buying size 7 for work boots. Looks like I’ll have to keep buying 7’s and using more inserts.

Made for Walking (As They Should be!)
First let me just start by saying I am an independent courier in Central NY. We have all of nature’s unforgiving elements. These boots have already been exposed to all and have not only held up, but also kept my feet comfortable without weighing them down like most composite boots. Many women's shoes have a very weak toebox that do not hold up. These have already been bumped, stepped on, things dropped, spilled etc. and hold their own. Even the exterior is very forgiving with marking/dings. The comfort sole is no joke for a person wanting to wear long distance. Warm. Dry. Comfort. I would recommend ordering a half size up if you do prefer to wear a thicker sock but remember leather always gives over time!

Nice Work Boots
Bought these bad boys because I'm lazy and don't like to tie my laces up. Turns out that my job site doesn't allow them 🙃 super comfy though, can wear them all day!

not bad
I should buy a small size but it was sold out. It’s comfortable and sold. Good for long standing

Looks good but too stiff
I bought those boots for work and been using it for a couple of months. The first time I used it was a torture, the heel and toes where the steel place sits felt very painful. With the constant use they are a bit softer but I still have to double the socks and add some bandage on the heels. They look good, as a regular leather boot. I wouldn’t buy the same model again.

Not for casual use
The fit is ok for the workplace but might be awkward for long walks. The big round composite toes made the boots look like Ugg boots. I am returning them and getting the soft-toe versions instead.

light weight
I've been wearing steel toe/shank boots for a couple of decades. These are so light weight compared to others I have had. BUT if you require ankle support, may want to pass.
