This soy candle making kit was great. Perfect for a first time candle maker. The kit includes everything you need to make candles. My 6 year old and I made the whole kit together in one day. He was able to help with everything, I just melted the wax over the double boiler.The instructions tell you exactly how many grams of wax you need for each size candle. That was very helpful since we made them different colors with the included dyes. The included scents smell lovely. My son liked the orange. If you have essential oils at home you can use those as well.My son loved decorating the jars and cannot wait to give them to family members as gifts!

Originally bought this because I wanted to make tea light candles due to the closest store being sold out and I don't have a vehicle. I just opened the box moments ago, I have found that I am missing the red color wax, the two bags of wax crumbs are nothing like the photo advertised, and other than those few things, I think I have a pretty good starter kit for an extreme beginner. My children will still love to make their own customary candles so I will not be returning this kit.

I bought this kit to learn how to make candles and it came with lots of supplies. It was very easy to follow and the quality is very good. The only downside for me was that there is no thermometer so you have to guess the wax temperature and also there was not much scent. Those two improvements would make a big difference.

My daughter loved doing this together, and I loved having a complete kit for our first time. Now I understand more of what we need and how it works. It was easy to use and we were happy with the results!

The candle containers were very small and very cheap! I was expecting more for what I paid.. I would not recommend this for adults..ok for an older child craft with parental supervision!!

Ahhh this candle kit is so much fun! Great activity with your older kids or girlfriends! Super easy to use and the candles turned out great - would definitely recommend!
